Vineyard Views Country House

Wow, is all I can say. Such a beautiful setting, amazing rooms, immaculate bathrooms, sparkling swimming pool and friendly staff who go out of their way to get you what you need. Gareth and Grant are so hospitable and make you feel right at home. They are unbelievable chefs and treated us to a real feast! Canapés before dinner, a special dinner of calamari salad starter, roasted gammon and veg on a mustard Alfredo pasta base and to top it off a chilled tiramisu pudding. Beyond delicious! Then along came breakfast (as if we had space for more, our clothes were already bursting at the seams!) Fruit salad, yogurt, and muesli to start, followed by a delicious salmon frittata. Just when we thought we were about to burst along came a platter of freshly home baked bread, croissants, cheese, avocado and a selection of cold meats! You will never leave there hungry that’s for sure! Nigella and Olivia are the cutest pups and added to the home away from home feeling. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Had the opportunity to have dinner at Vineyard Views. What an experience. The food was excellent. Attention to detail and personalised service. This will be our go-to choice in Riebeek in future.

Highly recommended for a city escape or as a base to explore charming Riebeek-Kasteel. Vineyard Views is a divine experience and is a destination in it's own right. Make sure to indulge in home-made canapes and sundowners on the deck at sunset... Unforgettable!

Our stay at the Vineyard Views County House was exceptional! We were welcomed with such care and attention, it was just amazing. We felt at home from the very first moment we arrived - starting with drinks on the patio and later on some canapés on the veranda. We loved our spacious room (Lower Level Suite) on the luxurious estate. Garreth and Grant treated us to a scrumptious dinner, which we booked in advance. The breakfast with beautiful views from the veranda was delightful and served by the kind and eloquent staff. All in all, we give Vineyard Views a five-star plus rating and will return, whenever we pass through Riebeeck Kasteel again. Thank you so much, Garreth and Grant!
