Ian was an AMAZING and knowledgeable tour guide. He was super helpful from the moment I contacted him via WhatsApp all the way to pulling our Kayak out of the water when we finished. He showed us great sites, rocks covered in seals and lovely swimming holes and took us through a beautiful kelp forest. All around legend- we had a great time and felt safe the entire time! Thanks again Ian!

Awesome kayaking experience and a great early start to the day. The Kayak team are very accommodating and friendly. A great area to explore and see some awesome views, they also provide waterproof pouches for your phone. Get the option to go on a tour with them or rent your own kayak for a solo trip.Defs going again.

Stunning day out on the water, navigating special spots along the Clifton coastline and seeing Cape Town landmarks from a unique vantage point on the water. Highly recommend for holiday goers and locals alike! Will be back, with friends!

What a wonderful experience, I highly recommend the guided tour with Kayak Clifton.The booking process was super easy, with Ian always responding quickly via whatsapp and he was very accommodating.The location is unmatched, Clifton 4th is such a beautiful beach with gorgeous views.We were a group of 10 with varied experience and confidence in the water. Ian made sure everyone was paired correctly taking safety and comfort into consideration, even down to adjusting our route based on the wind. We felt we were in safe and experienced hands with Ian and his team of guides (4 in total with us on a trip with about 16 guests).The kayaks are very stable and the life jackets provided are the most comfortable I have ever used, specifically designed for activity. They also provide waterproof phone covers which was a bonus.We explored the bay across Clifton and Ian even shared some historic and geographic facts while we paused and took in the views from Lions Head all the way to the Twelve Apostles.On our route back, we visited some seals and their pups sunbathing on a rock and then kayaked over some kelp forests into the hidden Mermaids cove where we got up close to Black Oyster Catchers and other seabirds.A thoroughly enjoyable trip and morning out exploring Clifton.

What a fantastic morning out! I was a little bit nervous to start off with but I loved every moment of it! It was super interesting and Matt was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I think everyone who visits Cape Town should do a kayak trip out with Kayak Clifton.
