It's not possible to find a more chill vibe than at this little gem of a bar/restaurant. The staff are awesome and the location, Kommetjie, is a postcard-perfect patch of scenic heaven.I think it has, quite possibly, the highest concentration of white hippies with deadlocks in all of Africa... Which is AWESOME... I love it.2 x VERY enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

I was out on the bike and decided to stop there for lunch. I had the fish and chips which was absolutely delicious. They were also busy doing a Sunday braai which I'd like to try in future.

Food was excellent, service was friendly and efficient, but there was a slight problem with our food and we were still charged for it, even after questioning our watron. The vibe is good, very chilled and a varied crowd from older regulars to youngsters enjoying the sport that's on.

Service is very very quick n food is amazing n tasty... staff super friendly n the drinks prices is very reasonable food abit on the expensive side not to hectic thou... my child couldn't get enough of the chalk board the have put up at the park...that a nice feature as she loves writing more then playin lol... does get realy dark at night thou n the candles at the tables doesnt doo much .. further on amazing place...one of my go to places.. oohh yes there chips are the best nice n big crispy outside n nice n soft on the inside

We stopped to have something to eat but only had a beer and milkshakes. The teenagers were not too impressed with the menu. Lol...they thought the burgers cost too much.It's a lovely, cozy atmosphere under the tree canopies. There's various sections to the place...outdoor eating area, indoor diner type area and a bar area. The toilets are clean and serviced. The staff are friendly.

Steak Egg and chips was amazing. Great value and delicious. Nice atmosphere with musicians playing outside. Chocolate milkshakes were so good too.

Fisherman's Garden
Not knowing the area well, we came across Fisherman's Garden while driving around looking for a restaurant. At 1st glance we thought the atmosphere was good and was drawn in by the life music. We ordered 1 Mozambique chicken (braai) a pizza and prawn skewers as a starter. Our starter arrived after our mains came out and we could not get the prawn clean, the meat stuck to the shell. The flies, at some point we had so many flies around us, that one had to wave the flies away while the other had to eat, it was terrible and we could not enjoy our food. We ended up leaving not finishing our lunch.
