God’s Window
Beautiful, peaceful. Even surrounded by clouds didn't ruin it. We could not see a view because the clouds were very low but amazing nonetheless. Will definitely be returning hopefully without the clouds x

Beautiful short hike with mountain view pit stops along the way. The entire walk is 10 minutes in total and is not too strenuous. When you reach the top it is absolutely breath-taking and apparently at night you can see the Mozambique city lights. Along the way there are benches to sit and take a breather and you're allow to leave locks or anything on the fences as a memorial. Most beautiful and serene hike. It definitely is God's window.

I was a bit underwhelmed with the actual gods window" section as it was just a small lookout point onto a view that wasn't the most magnificent that I've seen this side... the view definately got better the higher up you walked but the walk is not the faint hearted. It was quite amusing though to watch people struggle up the stairs and regularly take breaks with sweat pouring down their faces. There are a lot of steps so be prepared to walk and feel the burn and wear the correct shoes. You have options to go through the rainforest which I thoroughly enjoyed as it was cool and green and enchanting. You may need to move out the way if people are coming back in the opposite direction but all in all the view at the top is well worth the walk."

I think this is low-key hiking to see the beauty that God created. It was amazing seeing all those views and also stretching. The following day I was so tired but I enjoyed every bit of it

Unfortunately my good camera pixel phone didn't have battery but keh this pics will do for now, all I can say this place it's for people who love nature. It indeed God's window as you can see the beauty Lord has created, although I feel there's more they can do with the place

One of South Africa's best kept secrets. Beautiful walk leading through the Blyde Rover Canyon Nature Reserve through to breathtaking viewpoints.Take your time walking. Bins provided along the way though there was some litter in the bushes here and there. Lots of curios and local gifting available at the bottom by the parking area. Toilets are there too, however I didn't go in so can't comment on the cleanliness etc.Entrance fee is R25 for SA citizen adults and free for kids under 6. Kids over 6 are R16 each. This place will help you find whatever it is you have been seeking.

If I could stand and stare at that vista for my entire visit to the area, I suspect I would. The view is unparalleled, and I am sure that on a clear day you probably could see forever. The climb up to God's Window can be a bit taxing but it is worth the effort. Parking is safe and paths and stairways are well maintained. It is also nice to note that South African citizens are encouraged to visit by way of a small discount for SA citizens.
