What a great find, Marteens the wine maker, 5th generation on the farm is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to chat to in the cellar. I'm not a fan of brandy, but the combination of caramel cheesecake and the potstill brandy was irresistible. Cheesecake worth a stop.

A true oasis in the Green (yet still very hot) Kalahari. The air conditioned tasting room and lush gardens provide a welcome respite for weary travellers. An excellent array of hot climate wines are on offer and the entire range of gourmet burgers are simply mouthwatering.

Beautiful venue. Exquisite tappas. The owner knows his products very well and it was a privilege to taste the wines and pair it with the right bites. Absolutely delicious!

The wine tasting is over-priced and the fee should be deducted from orders. Wines are typically sweet and some seem a bit gimmicky, especially when accompanied by jaded sales patter. The Sav. Blanc is however worth a second taste. Unfortunately the brandy wasn't.

We went there expecting to eat breakfast and buy some of their products. Unfortunately we were met by two large dogs who cornered me against our vehicle, my husband tried to get one away from me, then the other one turned aggressively on my husband. I think it's important to keep the public safe if you advertise for patrons to spend their money on your property and produce. Instead of assisting one of the staff members/owner slammed the door in our face.

Uit die boonste rakke as you would say in Afrikaans. A must visit. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Best cheese platter and pot pies. A variety of interesting tastes of brandy and wine and a must for those who enjoy natural and new tastes. Do not miss the kalahari salts and preserves on the shelves.Also did not have any luck with contacting them via phone but their website is accurate with opening and closing times over public holidays and so on. Left with multiple boxes and packets!!

What a wonderful surprise! Potstil brandy and their red wine of the best in our country! The wine maker/owner has been sharing his passion with us in abundance!
