Ordered my canopy on 30 January 2023 with a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. For the first 3 weeks I received weekly updates. Week 4 they went radio silent. On 27 March, week 8, I followed up and they were still busy, but would be done in week 9. On 4 April, after I followed up, I was told that the canopy is being loaded on the truck. On 12 April 2023, after I still have not received my canopy, I followed up only to hear that there was a miscommunication and that my canopy was still sitting in Johannesburg. I cancelled my order, decided on an alternative, and this is where the second problem started. On 19 April Dean contacted me and assured me that they will refund my deposit, but they need to sell my canopy before they can do that because they did not have sufficient funds available at the time. Long story short, I received my refund on 8 May 2023, but can honestly not refer any business to RLD.

Nice people to deal with. Good online order process and fair watsapp communication.However. Sadly the product is disappointing . Waited a full 3 months for my next Gen. Wildtrack canopy and it doesn’t fit 100%. It’s as if they made a plan with the old shape and stuck a new rear window/door on. Not at all pleasing to look at side on.Fitment finish a bit sloppy. Silicon left all over. I’ll clean that up myself.Prefer my beekman for looks. But the RLD at least has gullwing side windows.2 weeks later and I’m still waiting my refund on racks not taken but paid for.

Purchased a canopy from them. Absolutely beautiful and I love showing off all the features of it. After my installation realized one of the seats didn't align with the accompanying hole. I then completed the customer feedback form. This was in October 2022. Still no feedback or solution offered. Purely because of a lack of after sales this wil be my review.

Great Canopy, we absolutely love it. But RLD has the worst aftersales service I've ever encountered, and they lack in communication in all ways. We wanted to fit our car with RLD drawers, but will definitely take our business elsewhere.

Order a conopy for my ranger and have fitted it on Fryday the 26 May 2023. Excellent service and product from start of placing the order. Weekly sms'e from RLD on the process. Well done to the RLD team.

Just had my RLD Canopy installed today. From getting the quotation to installation, the process was efficient. Constant updates via SMS. Fitment was scheduled for 1 hour, but took +-30min so I am super impressed. Excellent staff (office & warehouse). Overall, it was a fantastic service. And the canopy looks amazing. Well done RLD. I will definitely use you guys again.

Just had my Ford Ranger fitted with an RLD canopy. I truly believe that RLD Design produces the best-looking canopy. Their innovation in design makes them stand out from the others.
