A decent chicken wrap with chips. The chicken jalapeno quesedilla was massive! Two people can actually share it.The waffle was also pretty decent. Sadly they were out of rocky road ice cream which was the preferred option vs vanilla.Though they do need to take extra caution with fruit flies on cakes.Makes a good family outing esp if there a kids.

Amazing hidden gem. Perfect for families with lil kids to play in the playground. Lovely food delicious and well presented. Lots of lil shops in the area aswell to keep you occupied for hours.

This is an absolutely amazing place to just relax...especially with the kids. They are well entertained, a few restaurants to choose from. Meals are good, refreshing drinks, great service. A few stores to visit, fresh produce available as well. Cut little pottery store to show off your talents, as well as animal feeding for the kids.

Visited in August. Busy spot on the north coast. Nice breezy outdoor vibe. Indoor seating is also available.My food was okay but took an eternity to arrive. Asked for the bill and it never came . Got tired of waiting so I just went and found the payment station and asked for the bill. My partners food arrived cold. Breakfasts are a bit overpriced.Service needs to improve.

Hidden gem! Food was delicious and so many options! Best waffle I have ever had.They have farm animals and such a relaxing atmosphere. Also dog friendly. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Beautiful family friendly place. Open, lots of little shops. Has a small animal farm. Kids loved it. Also got to have the most delicious belgian waffles. 1 was enough for 2 to share.

Burnedale Bistro Umhlali
I've been wanting to visit for a while but we did not get a chance until a few weeks back. We had a lovely time. The weather was sunny and pleasant so we walked around and visited the animals before we sat down to eat.We were served promptly and very efficiently, hats off to the service staff. All the food was excellent while I didn't get photos of all the meals, we had a wonderful time.The waffles were the real winner for us, it was everything we ever imagined a waffle would taste like finally come to reality. It's light and fluffy but crispy on the outside.We will definitely be back if for nothing but the waffles.
