Amazing seaside escape, great design and wonderful host!

Shocking host! During our stay there were builders right next door and we had to absorb the constant noise and discomfort of drilling and knocking. Our host (Wendy) kindly agreed to a 10% discount for the inconvenience (and even confirmed in Airbnb portal). When it came to the refund she all of a sudden questioned the validity of the noise, implied we made it up and refused to refund us. Not what I expected from a “Super Host”!!!

What an absolute gem, not far from Cape Town. Finishes and amenities within the property were amazing. An architectural beauty. My family and I really enjoyed our winter getaway.

Best holiday ever. The host (Chanel) is an absolute gem of a woman. The rooms are immaculate, especially the beds are amazing. The flow and space of this place lends itself to complete relaxation and peace of mind. The fire place and kitchen was our best section to relax at in the evening. During the day the pool and barbecue sections was a delight. Early morning walks to the beacon and Access to the beach for a run was always a great start to the day. Last but not least 8 on Orca gave me full inspiration to carry on the next day's after being there for few days. The sunsets from the beach was always God sent and spectacular. I cannot say enough how amazing the place is for your soul. Let's not forget the out door shower and bath over looking the ocean from the top section of this incredible soul structure. 8 on Orca I'd highly recommend for a safe, peaceful, family fun, romantic getaway all encompassing holiday ever in Cape Town, South Africa.
