Loxton Lodge offers comfortable accommodation, a well stocked Bar and Braai facilities which really suits the needs of Adventure Bikers exploring the Karoo region. Thank you Lynette for your hospitality and going the extra mile in supplying Braaipacks, salad and wood for our evening braai.We will definately visit again!

What a great stay. Arrived at the lodge very late in the evening, and was greeted with open arms. Lynette and her team made my stay very comfortable. Rooms are clean and well equipped for cold winter nights. The food was delicious and hearty. I was treated to a stunning breakfast at de zinkschuur"

Loxton Lodge has a wonderful balance between historical and modern ambience. The guest house was where Ena Murray originally lived. The newly renovated restaurant has a bar and has become a popular meeting place for the locals and a place for visitors to meet the locals and talk about famous events (making of the film Jakhalsdans, Last Tango in Loxton ), and then popular writer Deon Meyer; artist Annelise Vorster Meyer! The accommodation is wonderful and of course, the Old Truck Museum with many interesting and uniqur World War II vehicles. Most certainly worth a visit!
