Black Rhino Game Lodge

A small bit of heaven on earth. It was a magical family get away. Setting is perfect, suites luxurious. Everything one could possibly wish for and more. Tranquility to the nth degree.

Absolutely loved our stay at black rhino. The staff are absolutely incredible and make the stay so worth while! From beautiful big rooms with amazing views and knowledgable game rangers. I couldn’t recommend this lodge more! Shoutout to the amazing staff!

Only stayed one night but it was great. Will definitely come back.Large nice lodge with a nice hot spa after the sunset safari. Fanatic staff, great food in a superb location. Plenty of animals seen at the pond at the main building before even going on the safari

Amazing stay at the Black Rhino Game Lodge. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was beautiful, sadly we didn’t have time to use the hot tub. The staff were fabulous, so kind, caring, welcoming and attentive to our 18 month old son. Shout out to Pronia, Dominic, Cornelius and Emily. The safaris were incredible - our guide was so knowledgeable and excited to show us as many animals as possible. We really enjoyed the one hour ‘bumble’ for our son too.

We stayed for 4 nights and had the time of our lives! The staff, from the greeting to the dinning the reception game drives and the cleaning staff was just out standing! Will definitely be back!

Was there for 3 nights with the extended family. Excellent staff, and the guide on the game drives was knowledgeable and engaging. Food was delicious.

From Genevieve and the rest of the Fitness Family who came to stay prior to a wedding in March 2023:To say our entire croup (20+ people) felt homesick for Black Rhino Lodge due to missing the place and people after leaving Black Rhino Lodge because we all felt so connected to the place and staff is an understatement to what a beautiful place this is. I honestly feel like a piece of my soul now remains with this place. Truly unforgettable and life-changing in both my and my partner's opinions.We came to Black Rhino as part of a massive wedding party and everyone I have spoke to all say this was the highlight of our trip. From a mega-family of very well-travelled individuals, this is really saying something.I cannot really describe well enough how this place and the amazing staff will steal your hearts. Such good, friendly loving people who truly bend over backwards to make every dream you have come true there. The food is exceptional, the facilities are stunning, well-kept, luxurious, the pools are a lovely temperature, the knowledge of the staff (Masego) and the amazing babysitter (Pronia) also are a level above all other places we attended. Truly incomparable to all others!Safari: We also had some incredible safari's each day with the conductors imparting such incredible knowledge, trying to get us access to all wildlife (hunt for the leopard will re-commence next time) and we really felt so connected to the land and animals. Russie, is an absolutely amazing safari operator and I really feel like I made a friend for life in him.We will definitely be coming back to stay again every few years at Black Rhino Lodge and would recommend this place above all others.We miss you all and can't wait to come back.

The rooms/huts vary in quality, but mine was excellent - the other ones i saw were solid aswell though.Lots of staff members that are always funny, kind and helpful. Every issue was resolved immediately.
