Baywash Car Wash & Valet

I went here for the first time and when I was told the price they said R150 after questioning them they changed to R120. Before washing I asked to pay and they said you can pay after (not saying they don’t accept card ) I showed them spots in my car that can be easily removed with abit of pressure and the Indian guy collecting the cash immediately said it CANNOT be removed before even seeing the car, I told him it can and even offered a tip for abit of care to my car . After the wash they called me to move it to dry and the spots were all still there I was told it cannot be removed and had to pay extra if I want it removed. I asked for a cloth and tried myself and the area I tried immediately came off. They still refused to do it and showed no interest. I asked to speak to the owner and he gave me no joy on the phone and said he cannot help from home. I opted to just leave and they said it’s R90 for a wash and go (no drying) I asked to tap my card and he said no card available. I paid them whatever loose cash I had on me and messaged the owner with a complaint with no reply or concern. I will give this place ZERO STARS AND ADVISE PEOPLE TO NEVER EVER USE THEM .

If I could give this place half a star I would. The guy who works at the front who processes the payments makes his own prices and does not stick to the prices stated. He had the audacity to charge extra because he said the car was too dirty on the outside. Nowhere on the price list did they mention increased prices for muddy cars. They do not take pride in making sure the car is efficiently clean either. I have left there with a partially clean car too many times. If you don't get paid enough go and discuss that with your boss.

The carwash had my vehicle for 10hrs but when I went through to collect it, the back seat had been removed, there was battery notification and the petrol tank was on the end of reserve. They were still wiping it down 10hrs later. I asked for a refund of the R850 i had paid for the valet as the issue wasn't resolved. To date, I await feedback from the carwash. The owner also doesn't answer my calls.

Excellent car wash. My jeep went there full of mud, came back shining. Pricing was fairly decent compared to others who quoted higher. Make sure you go there with cash as they don't use cards.

Worst car wash I’ve been to, I live down the road but will never take my car back there. Stay far especially if u have expensive cars, they ruined the black mirrors on my brand new Audi S3 it was probably due to wrong type of cloth used that has now masked the flawless paint finish with light scratches that are strongly noticeable under light, when highlighted to the manager he was quick to walk away without anything to say. R100 just to wash the outside definitely not in line with the service they provide. I waited in my car towards the end and the guy tried to send me off thinking I would not get out my car and inspect his work which was poor, had to point out he left grease to dry on mags and spots all over. His excuse was poor lighting, don’t let the location fool you into thinking they’re are a quality service provider, they are clueless. A lot of better options available in the area

Terrible and very bad service!! How do you rate - negative reviews (-10) Indian fella manager has no ethics and it's his way or no way. Didn't do a proper job and wanted cash (will report to SARS). Car wasn't cleaned properly and the washers hang around after expecting a tip for what exactly? There are better options around the corner.

Used to take my car there all the time and they were very good before. Took my car for a wash today and they have pushed up the prices, I paid R100 for a wash but they have done such a half job. There is still sand and dust everywhere in my car, I can actually run my finger over the dash and you can see the line in the layer of dust. The outside is no better, there are big patches everywhere where they haven’t even wiped while washing. I have to take the car for a second wash now so it actually gets cleaned. I will never go back there again
