A disappointment. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Room was neat. However, you pay Protea Hotel rates and get a Formula 1 experience. I had to boil the kettle on the floor as that was the nearest plug. There was no spoon to stir. The previous guest's soap was still in the shower. I had to fry eggs myself as there was no one else to do it. Very disappointed.

My first evening was Friday night, the noise from the pub was too much, the doves are noisy as well. There is only one lady who is friendly the Temp that works over weekend. The linen is dirty worse it's white linen you easily see how dirty it is. The wi-fi mighty slow end using my own data. There are mice, I found it's droplets on the bed. This place needs proper management, the breakfast is ridiculously very early ends at 08:00.

Staying here for more than a week now and the aircon in my room is not working and the owner is not interested at all to sort this mess out.

The staffvare the mostbunfriendly ever, dont greet, dont look up from their phones, talk about their personal life without considering guests. The room was not properly clean and I found some used medlemon pack which looks like it layed there for months inbthe drawer ofbroom 6. I was all round dissapointed. Even when I asked reception to sort out my tv, nobody bothered to assist.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. A proper maintenance needs to be done there I'm telling you. OK the lady from the reception was nice, I understand that with the hotel being renovated again and maintenance to be done it's beyond her control. Lol I didn't like when she lied to me about the Wi-Fi router that has burned.. Come on there is no Wi-Fi there and that needs to be fixed.

We arrived on short notice. We were welcomed with warm smiles, and dinner was arranged for us, wich was the best dinner ever. Clean room and bathroom, and bed sheets, and nothing out of place. Comendeble sevice. We salute the staff. They went beyond the call of duty.

The place is filthy, see attached pics. This is their Executive room" so they call it. No basic maintenance just simple hygiene. I was welcomed by a cockroach in the bathroom
