Kambaku River Sands

What an amazing 4-day safari experience! The staff are just absolutely wonderful. Our safari rangers & trackers had a true passion for their jobs and went above & beyond to track wild life ☺️ one should never have any expectations, yet we were fortunate to see lions on four occasions and leopards on two (plus elephants, rhinos & buffalos to complement the big 5), plus lots of other lovely animals! Once in a life time really ☺️The accommodation/rooms are very comfortable indeed and the food is good. Management make every effort to personalise the experience while at the lodge during the day & evening.Everything was so superbly run that I would consider bringing my kids when they are a little older!

I love this hotel. A great experience. The safaris are fantastic, the staff are fantastic, the safari guides are fantastic, for a place that is so far from ‘civilization’ the food is fantastic. Wifi is a okay in your lodges but in the main building it’s fast, but I mean you can’t expect the fastest internet speeds. Their outdoor pool is located in the main building and if your lucky, some animals, mainly elephants will walk over and drink some water. The guides are very experienced and know what they’re doing. Since it is a small hotel, you have meals with your fellow guests, which is quite nice and smart. After all you are going on the safaris with your fellow guests so might as well get to know them because you can’t talk that much while on the jeeps in order to get a little close to animals. I was able to see the big 5 too. Thank you to the staff and crew at kambaku river sands.

Great experience all around. First and foremost the staff is amazing. Willing to cater to whatever it is you need. They will change the entire menu if you have dietary restrictions. They will remove all the bugs from your room if you leave the door open on accident. And they will do everything they can to make sure your Safaris are amazing. The rooms are clean and the food is good. Would love to reutrn

Going to Kambaku River Sands is like Fantasy Island meeting Jurassic Park. The accommodations, food and service meet any luxury hotel, yet zebra, elephants and giraffe are visible from the veranda. I cannot describe what it feels like to be in the bush, surrounded by a heard of elephants having a beer. It is what African dreams are made of. The guides and the trackers are incredible. They will tell you they smell" a rhino and a few minutes later

Nice accommodations and good food. Games drives were nice with some excellent encounters at watering holes

Incredible vacation! Saw the big 5 , the small five , and the ugly 5 . The entire staff was wonderful. Nicola, Cody, Palance , Kenny & the entire staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food & accommodations were excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

An incredible experience with all the luxuries. Game sightings are amazing and incredible. The entire experience, owners, managers and staff make one's visit very personal and professional.

Am amazing lodge with great staff and plentiful access to animals! They have a wonderful chef a great spa for treatments during the heat of the day.

What great accommodation and the trips are exhilarating. Great experience.
