Cracklin' Rosie River Tours, Velddrift
One of our absolute highlights of our trip to Port Owen. Our hosts, Nicole and Wendy were absolutely awesome and so down to earth and welcoming. Wendy and Nico both shared amazing stories from in and around Velddrif. They are really knowledgeable about the area and the bird life, etc. Do yourself a favour if you are down that way and take a sunset trip on Cracklin Rosie, you won't regret it. You may even bring your own snacks and xyz on board. The trip last for 2 hours. Go on and enjoy. We will certainly be back for another trip ❤❤❤

Cracklin' Rosie River Tours, Velddrift
Craclin' Rosie's early birding river cruise was a highlight of our West Coast trip. It's about a 35-minute drive from Paternoster.The cruise was well organised and leisurely. Hosts Wendy and Nico were friendly and helpful.The casual buffet breakfast on board was a feast of delicacies.I saw quite a few new birds, especially terns. The company was good, the vibe laid back, and a great time was had by all.I highly recommend the 07:00 river cruise with Craclin' Rosie.

This was an experience noted in the memory bank for always. A slow cruise up the river enjoying the incredible birdlife especially the great pelicans! Your hosts Wendy and Nico are delightful and knowledgeable of the area. It was just great to enjoy the outdoors and breathe!

My family and I went on the Cracklin' Rosie this week and it was lovely. It was so peaceful on the river and I loved seeing all the birds, especially the flamingos. I recently moved to Velddrif and it was lovely being on the river rather than seeing it from the road. I definitely recommend taking a river cruise if you visit the area.

Enjoyed the boat trip up the Berg River immensely but it would have been better had it been sunny and warm. The bird life was amazing and the hosts were very informative. Highly recommended.

Loved this river cruise. Can be ferried up the river to a river pub as well bird watching. Very friendly owners and reasonable too. Would definitely do it again.
