You would be better of not visiting this store, they have no idea how their products work, rather visit: Rack n Road Thule Partner Pretoria in Lynnwood Road.I was told by the Centurion store that the towbar on my vehicle would not work with my Thule Velo Compact and I need to get another towball (I guess they were in a hurry to return to their mobile phones), after searching and phoning the dealerships and towbar suppliers without any success of getting what they advised me to get I visited Rack n Road Thule Partner Pretoria in Lynnwood Road, they went to my car removed a part from the Velo Compact rack and it fitted!

What a great experience, from going to view the products, to ordering them and then going to have them fitted. Melvin and Emanuel made my day, they were knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of their way to assist me. They deserve a proper christmas bonus! I will definitely recommend this store to everyone that I speak to, and it is purely because of these 2 guys! Well done!

Their phone hardly works. They admit it's a known error, yet makes no effort to use a mobile phone or such to enable communication.To add insult to injury they claim they have stock yet after driving all the way there I'm told they do not have the one I need.These folks is a bad reflection on a good brand

Thule Centurion/Southdowns, will definitely shop there again following the next experience I had.Simply could not ascertain whether the RoofBox would fit on the car and into the garage while in place. After a backwards and forwards discussion between myself and the manager Brandon Terblanche. Brandon sent one of his staff Dylan along to my home where we checked to see if it would or not.Got home and got it did not however still ended up buying the RoofBox.The service I experienced was simply impeccable.Keep up the great work Thule Centurion. Your hard work and determination is top notch.

I have not had a good experience with the Southdowns store. Took my pram wheels in for fixing as the always go flat and the spokes are loose and the little blue push release button on side to take wheel off has fallen off on a run and needs replacing. They never phoned when they said they would phone. It took just over 2 weeks to get new tubes. I went to the shop to find our if the tyres/wheels where fixed but the wheels where still sitting in the back of shop and no one had put the new tubes in. I was told that they where so busy in December they was no time to put the tubes in but all 3 staff where sitting on chairs outside the shop when I walked in. Anyway I then took the pram wheels to a bike shop to fix for me. I am still waiting for them to let me know when they have the blue push release button for the wheel which has been ordered they said. But this would now be a month ago.

2021/10/06: Update on review below -The regional manager called us yesterday and apologised for the bad service we received from Thule Southdowns and said it would be dealt with.We are pleased that they are aware of what we experienced and that they will improve the customer service at this branch.Thank you!Kind regards,Christina_________________________________________________________________2021/10/05On Monday last week my husband and I visited the Thule store in Southdowns Shopping Centre for the second time in a short period. This time however, regarding a hydration bag.The store did not have the one my husband wanted to buy and the staff ordered it.My husband had to attend a meeting on Friday so he was not able to collect the bag and therefore I collected the bag.Prior to going to the store; I called my husband to confirm which bag he ordered and he said it was the Vitality 8 liter bag in black.I called the store to confirm if they did in fact receive the bag and I was that did get the bag, but that, they did call him on Thursday, but he did not answer or call back.Excuse me??? So Thule Southdowns only calls clients once, and if the client doesn’t answer, they don’t leave a message? Don’t try again, or send a SMS or WhatsApp? So according to Thule Southdowns the client is at fault?Anyway, during the course of the week, we continued to discuss if the bigger bag was the better option, however, despite or discussion and as my husband did in fact order the 8l bag on Monday, he set aside X amount for the bigger 8l bag.On the way to the store we discussed it again over the phone and we both agreed that the bigger bag was in fact the better option.As I walked in, I greeted the two salesmen and said I was there to collect the bag which was ordered for my husband.When I opened the bag, I noticed it was in fact the 6 liter bag and not the 8 liter bag as requested. Also the price was X less R 500.00.I said to both guys that this was not the correct bag.Both argued with me and said, no, it’s absolutely correct; that my husband wanted the 6l and not the 8l and that they even wrote it down, and my husband was the one who couldn’t decide between the 6l and the 8l.WOAH!!!!!! I was stunned! Is this how Thule Southdowns treat and talk to potential clients?I tried calling my husband to confirm the above and as he was in a meeting I could not get a hold of him. Due to the above-mentioned, I decided to purchase the bag. My mistake.On my way out, the older assistant who was outside, mockingly said - oh so you got a hold of you husband. Gloating because he thought he was right and I misunderstood my husband.Shocking!He wasn’t right! He was arrogant and condescending.What I don’t get, if we for some strange reason did order the 6l, which I can guarantee you was not the case, why would your staff argue with a client? Do they not understand customer service 101 - Give the client what they want! Ask the client, if this is not what you want, what can we get for you?To add insult to injury, it was an UPSELL, I wasn’t trying to buy something cheaper.When my husband returned my call, he in fact confirmed that it was in fact the 8l and not the 6l as the staff at Thule Southdowns were so sure off.The staff at Southdowns very condescending and arrogant and treated us like they were doing us a favour, so the experience at Thule Southdowns was horrible to say the least.I then decided to go to your Menlyn Maine branch to exchange the bag for the correct one.The staff were friendlier and more helpful.They had the correct bag in stock, and I was able to exchange the bag.However, to finalise the exchange, the staff member had to contact the area manager to confirm if the exchange was allowed.Sjoe!I can guarantee you, I will never go back to the Thule store in Southdowns.Amazing products, can't say the same about the staff at Thule Southdowns.

Thule products are absolutely fantastic when it comes to quality. For the shop: great selection of Thule goods, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Really easy to give a five star rating for customer service, variety, availability and quality of products.
