The food was exceptional! A must try is the deep fried tofu. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the staff are so friendly.

Wowowowow! We lived in China for years and since then we’ve been on the eternal lookout for good Chinese food (in China they just call it ‘food’). Lao Chen, you blew us away with your gracious and gentle hospitality, your amazing jasmine tea, and, last but most, every single dish we tasted was simple and authentic yet modern and interesting. My faves were the cucumber salad and the prawn pockets - unbelievable - but everything was utterly delicious. I’ve found my new favourite Chinese restaurant in this town, for sure ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

First trip to Melville in years and decided, spur of the moment to visit this amazing little restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. Nice clean flavours. Nothing too heavy. Included on the menu tonight was the pork belly and the prawn pockets. So delicious. Pictures attached.A great place to take the family for a meal. Well priced and really worth it. The food was well presented and served fresh and warm.Highly recommended for an authentic Chinese experience. Hit the craving spot perfectly.

Chopstix is run by an amazing owner, Charlie. He is very passionate about bringing Chinese flavours to the diverse palates of South Africans and all who just want that satisfaction of Chinese food. If an Asian person approves of the Chinese food, well then you know it's good!Charlie is very receptive to suggestions and always tries to improve, especially when given constructive and reasonable criticism.It's unfortunate that people think shaming a restaurant is providing valuable reviews. Rather advise what you think can be done better.This lovely little take away restaurant also offers a wonderful selection of authentic chinese teas, which you can enjoy with your meal, or purchase to take home. It's not about getting a 5 star VIP treatment at a take away restaurant, it's the food that really makes you feel at home, and you will surely feel like VIP with the friendliness of the owner.

Ill give this place a 5/5! The dishes are quite authentic and they are tasty and also generous servings. The staff are attentive and smiling.Quite a joy to eat here on a quiet Sunday afternoon.Highly recommended and also affordable.Will go again!
