I absolutely loved my beginners class with Groove Zone Sydney. Our instructor, Anna Q was brilliant - enthusiastic, kind and a great dance instructor. Good, friendly people in the class! I highly recommend this experience! Go for it!

Groove Zone is exactly what this is. Hip Hop and a little funk and brining your groove. Most students tell me it’s the highlight of their week and I agree 100%. Whether new to hip hop or a pro there is a place for you. All the teachers and students make it so much fun and if you’re looking for community and collaboration look no further. 7 stars from me

First time doing a dance class in 30 years of life and couldn't have had a better experience. The instructors, Yolanda, Anna and Phillipe are masters of helping you find and cross the edge of your comfort zone. Highly recommended for beginners and for those with experience.

Groove Zone Hip Hop Dance Classes - Sydney
My level 1 experience last term was AMAZING!! Our instructor Anna showed positive, happy vibes during each class. She taught us awesome dance moves without making us feel intimidated or uncomfortable in any way. I recommend this class to anyone slightly interested in hip hop, as the experience combines learning some moves, meeting nice people, getting out the negative energy and stress, and just having so much FUN!! Thank you, very much appreciated :)

By far the best place to begin your hip hop journey! Anna and Yolanda make sure that you are well equipped with the most fundamental hip hop grooves so that your practice is built from a solid foundation.Too many beginner classes are far too advanced for a real beginner and it makes it hard to advance to the next stage.The level 2 class is a perfect step up from level 1 and is more choreography based where you can implement all of the fundamentals from level 1 and start to flow and grow into your natural style.A safe and supportive space where everyone is trying something new and stepping out of their comfort zone together.Highly recommend!

The most fun you can have with your clothes on! Perfect for total beginners and options to advance to slightly more challenging classes as you grow in confidence.Yolanda, Phillipe and Anna are incredibly passionate and talented teachers and it's a joy to attend classes each week and shake off the week's stress.Everyone is super down to earth, friendly and non judgemental - there's a real community vibe that is really hard to find at other dance schools and the dopamine hits hard.

My friend had learn to hip hop in a ‘30 before 30’ bucket list, so I checked the free trial by Anna. I was hooked - nek minnit Level 1 booked!I can’t believe I made it to performance night. I missed two sessions (my first covid caught from teaching friend how to make pasta from scratch on bucket list) which frazzled my energy and memory.Thanks Anna for enormous energy and encouragement along with piles of passion and patience. I’ve had an amazing journey and surprised myself with remembering most of the choreography. Still hooked andLevel 2 booked!
