My daughter (16 years) and I have been clients of Brow Architect for a while. Because of the Covid restrictions, only one client is allowed in their store. I told them that I'm not taking a chance leaving my daughter alone outside their store while I'm inside doing my brows. Even though there was no other client in their store, the lady refused to let my daughter inside where she could have stood at the door where she would have been safe but maintaining a safe 1 metre distance as per the covid regulations. I really did not mind if my daughter was inside getting her brows done and I stood outside waiting for her but I just can't take that chance with my daughter standing outside. My daughter's safety comes first. The lady was very rude and unfriendly turning her back on me and closing the door while in the middle of our conversation. We will not be returning to Brow architect.

The work of the brow specialist in terms of threading was wonderful however they are clearly understaffed that the staff that do other treatments, although trained to do brows will not step in to assist. I waited almost an hour to have my brows done. Don’t come if you are in a hurry. Numerous people say down, waited a while and then left due to the long wait.

I love the way they consult with me before doing my brows or lashes. The staff is amazing and full of passion. I can’t trust anyone else with my brows!

I've been a client for a few years, I have never been disappointed. I'm always happy with my brows and the service when visiting them and I will definitely keep going back. I highly recommend them.

I was a first time customer visiting Brow architect in Clearwater mall today. And it turned my day into a nightmare.I went there for a very simple eyelash extention removal. (I did not get the lashes done there and I'm trying to understand if that was the reason for the awful service).When I arrived the store was empty with one other customer apart from myself. There were 3 girls in the store. The women doing the removal layed me down and applied some product to remove the lashes. While I wait, the store starts filling up and the lady doing my lashes proceeds to help 2 other customers. She then comes on checks on my lashes about 15 min later and then tells me that she is having trouble removing the lashes. After aggressively pulling at the lashes. She applies product again and tells me we need to wait 10 min and then she'll try again. So I wait and she proceeds to help her other customers. She comes back and then even more so aggressively pulls off the lashes. Painful this time and I can feel cutting at my lash line. I assume she used a small scissor. I voice my discomfort and pain and she tells me she got the lashes off and wipes my eyes. At this point from all the aggression she got product in my left eye. I told her I couldn't open my eye. And she gives me tissue to wipe my own eye. I still could not open it. I then tell her I think there is product in my eye. All she does is hold up a mirror and I had to figure out what was going on. It was extremely painful. I then see there was product in my eye and I point it out and she helps remove it. However the pain and discomfort continues and I am still unable to open my left eye.she tell me to lay down with my eyes close and wait for a while. So I do that not to cause a scene at this point customers are staring at me. After 10 min I get up and walk to their shop mirror and see that there is product stuck to my top lash line on my inner lid. I wave at her to come help me. She was behind the till then. Showing an extreme lack of concern for my obvious pain and discomfort. She removes the product stuck to my top lash line. At this point it feel a lot better enough for me to open the eye just a little but still with great discomfort. I pay for the service and she has the nerve to ask me for my next appointment booking. With no remorse or concern that something was obviously very wrong with my eye that she had just given me service for. I literally walked out the store with one eye closed. I had to drive to a hospital with one eye functioning because there was such great discomfort. The doctor at the hospital removed yellow product that had gotten stuck under my eyelid. And if I had left it I would've had serious eye injury. Because of the product that had gotten under there because the lady who removed my eyelash extensions was either not paying attention or just did not give good service. I now have to take eyedrops and see if eyelid and eye heals. A R200 bill turned into a R600 bill excluding a hospital check in. I would've been a lot less upset if the Lady helping me could have taken more accountability when she saw I was clearly not okay, and not play it off as if it was not the big of a deal.Extremely upsetting.

Terrible service. Poor knowledge of how to do their job and extremely rude and deceitful. Will never go back.

The place is disgusting. The beds are so dirty and covered in multiple previous clients hair. It's so unhygienic and smells funny.Never mind that, the threading was less than satisfactory and expensive. I might as well have plucked my eyebrows.The very sweet young girl that did my brows needs to go have hers done by a real professional because after hardly shaping my brows she asked me if I was happy and was Hella painful!You couldn't pay me to go back.

Terrible experience with the Lash extension removal service. Whilst the beauty therapist was attempting to remove the lashes in an abrupt manner, product got into my eye and has permanently damaged the sclera. It's been a month now and I'm still experiencing burning and redness in the eye. All the Lash extensions weren't even removed at the end of the treatment. Very disappointing.

I used to visit Brow Architect regularly when they first opened but stopped when a Sorbet salon opened in my area (its just more convenient). However I visited last month and didn't have a pleasant experience due to my skin almost being ripped off due to the technique of the therapist who threaded my eyebrows. I requested another therapist who did a better job. I visited again today (they were the only salon opened on a Sunday afternoon). There were two therapists who were busy and after waiting for 10 minutes, I said that I would return later. I completed my shopping and returned, got comfortable in the chair to thread my eyebrows and was then informed that their card machine was not working and that they were accepting cash only. I was surprised that this information was not shared with me on my earlier visit as I could have easily went to the ATM. Its really sad that their communication is so poor and resulted in lost business from me.
