All was good along until the 5th of April. The day the security lady shouted @me to sign out the registry. I told her I have signed out. She shouted @me twice with so many people in the front of the building. I felt embarrassed but kept my cool and just said I have signed out. Her words to me was I will see that you don't enter this building again. I just said ok politely turned around and left the building.

Asked for advice and got it promptly. Recommended for anyone who doesn't have financial means to consult with a fee based lawyer

I'm in need of a lawyer but reading the comments bellow really scares me to ask you to be my lawyer. This is very sad reading how people is not getting the proper service from a service which is provided to us I am shocked to read that lawyers can't do their jobs. I am desperately in need of a lawyer but I don't think I'll use your service. The experiences I'm reading is very sad. Please sort out your clients and rebuild your reputation.

They aren't too keen on answering questions over the phone & you will most likely be told to come to their offices to discuss whatever it is you might need help with ~Keep in mind that there is virtually no parking available in the centre of town, so rather take public transport to town & then walk to St. George's Mall...* & use GOOGLE Maps to find their offices ~ don't bother asking locals for directions, i tried that & after being sent from pillar to post for nearly an hour,i realised that NOBODY around that area knows where the Legal Aid Offices are!!

My case is still running but I do not get any support from the Attorney they sit in court without saying anything nor coming up for me. If you do have something to say to the Attorney the Attorneys reactions are unacceptable. It is so frustrating not getting any help. I even had all evidence and nothing was done. My hands feel tied up and can not understand why legal aid wont fight for me and my kids. I'm on the end of loosing my kids to a abuser and the kids is in his care. This is not the only problem with legal aid you have to put in all the effort phoning them, if you as a person do not phone to follow up on anything nothing would have been done. I have send my complete file to legal aid and that same file have not been touched at all. I have attended court several timeswithout the attorney not knowing what was going on and then sits next to you in court saying and doing nothing.Ever hurt of woman been abuses for years and now were is the legal actions ???????

One lawyer says it's done. The next says no.This is the worst company for people who can't afford a lawyer.I'd advise everyone who has this company as thier defense to change now.The service of the lawyers in the cape town magistrates court are the worst and everyone has complained about the lack of service.Are thier even trained??This is completely the worst company people .I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LEGAL AID BOARD

The place is clean and tidy. Receptionists have her hands full somehow and you wait long to be helped. Also very difficult to locate the place

I had to go there twice to get legal advice. SEPTEMBER 2022.JANUARY 2023.I HAD TO APPLY TWICE.If you don't answer your phone, They don't try the next day. Or the same week.they cancel your application
