Firstly, we were not greeted and were told to sit wherever, but all the empty tables still had dirty plates and glasses on them.Once finding a place to sit, I asked someone to come clear it and he told me to go find someone else to do it. After we sat, we were not served and had to go up to the waiters to order, after which we were told there was no wine left for tasting.We ordered a bottle of MCC instead and it was not cold. We were then told that they were no longer serving food, it was 3pm, and the place closed at 5pm. The management at the tasting area was nonexistent and the staff were all standing at the bar on their phones.We moved over to the restaurant and were told we had to order quickly because the kitchen was closing at 4pm. But then after 4pm, other people were being served food menus.The MCC itself was poor.The burgers we had were good, but our food was cold. The onion rings were soggy and the chips were even colder.Would not recommend this farm. One of the party left the farm with an upset stomach after eating.

Very sad, it was my Dad's 78th birthday, and this restaurant was not ready at all to serve what we ordered. The quality, incorrect cooking, as well as the consistency were very disappointing. This restaurant used loadshedding as an excuse, but management not even once informed us to order. Food cold, steak tough, and chips without consultation replaced with salad. I will never return to this restaurant. Tip" make sure you confirm if a restaurant is able to serve during loadshedding the full menu before making a booking! My mom's steak

What a lovely place to visit. There food was excellent and beautifully presented.We where a larger group as we where there celebrating our end year function of our school.We did wait a little bit for our food but the place was packed and could forgive them for that. They only have craft beer available I quite enjoyed it, but some at our table wanted a more traditional beer like Castle or Windhoek but there isn't any of the usual on the list. There white wine was exceptional is one of the reasons I am going back to get a taste of that again.The waiting staff are super friendly. Some not all where slow with service.I had a pizza was I blown away by their Howitzer! Hit just the right notes, but next time I am going for the BBQ plankie. It just looked gorgeous from where I was sitting but was to full after my pizza to eat anything else.That brings me to their portion sizes are excellent for the prices. Definitely worth the look in if you want a good meal and have some fun along the way.There is a play area for kids was just a bit disappointed on its location as it is a bit out of sight. So kids can't be a 100% under supervision even though it is an adequate space for kids.Saw you can only rent spaces out for those looking for where is their next party or events going to be. Is central and prices is not too crazy.

It’s a really nice location. Service was perfect. Wine great. I would say there were a few weird aspects:1. Wine came with Turkish delight. Not terrible but cheese or chocolate is better.2. You could make your own cheese board but only if you bought whole blocks of cheese.3. The beer tasting flight only has two beers in it which isn’t really a selection.

Spending Sunday afternoon at Signal Gun Wine farm was a day well spent. Thanks to the warmest welcome from Logan who treated us very well with his knowledgeable input on the selection of wines for available in their tasting section.Loved the view and the botanical experience. Wrong place if you are big fan of cheese platters or charcuterie otherwise my newly discovered heaven. I have to review my list of best wine farms in Durbanville after visiting this jewel. Family friendly with live music on Sundays. Not a friendly place for disabled people but a wonderful place indeed. We will definitely make a turn again

Signal Gun is an amazing place with great food, great views and great vibes! There are play areas for the kids and a TV for sport.The whole family can go and enjoy a day there.

I took my mother to Signal Gun for mother's day and we ordered their Hazelnut Latte, what arrived was hot chocolate.We then sent it back after explaining to the waiter that it was 100% hot chocolate, only for the hot Chocolates to be brought back and told that they use a Hazelnut chocolate powder for the latte.But no espresso/coffee.Which then just makes it a flavored hot chocolate not a Latte.

Beautiful views and delicious food. Signal Gun is perched in the Durbanville Hills and offers outdoor picnics, wine tasting, wine sales and of course it's own restaurant.There is a play area for the kids which is nice and also a lot of parking. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.The restaurant doesn't take bookings and it is quite busy on a Sunday so it is advised to get there before lunch or you will end up queuing for a table.

Very disappointing for Mothers day lunch. We had to keep getting up to look for a waitress to be served. We arrived at 12-30 and received our food 2 hrs later. Food was very disappointing. Thank goodness for the nice vibe and view. I understand you busy but then employ more staff to cater on the day. Thank you to all that tried their best. I will be back cause I know your restaurantNormally is good

Great food and service, our waitress Kushy, was very attentive and most pleasant. The menu is great choices and the burgers were great, stunning views and play area. Can highly recommend Signal Gun. Also enjoyed the live music.
