We were treated with kindness. Prompt service and we just cant believe how clean it is. Thats awsum!!! All the dogs are healthy and happy and the staff tentative to our needs. We are at peace of mind knowing it is best for the furkid to be in this facility as it truly is best for them. Thankyou for all you do for the animals in need. Will support you any time!

They saved my little Chobe after she very stupidly ate a piece of metal. She's on supportive treatment and is getting happier everyday.

I have always experienced a warm & welcoming reception when visiting with my cat, Bella. She sadly passed away… but I do believe, with all my heart, that the wonderful Dr’s, together with the help of the amazing staff, did their utmost to try & save her. I would like to thank you all for the support, kindness & compassion you’ve displayed, & would like you to know that your efforts are truly valued and appreciated❣️ Thank you for your great service!

So dissappointed with the SPCA. My cat had a open gash on his belly. I went to their clinic for assistance. They helped me but wanted me to pay R1600 just so he could spend the night and I would have to pay extra the nxt day for whatever they needed to do. I told them i couldnt afford it i had R750 in my account and i had 6 days to payday. They reduced it to R940. I still couldnt afford it. They said the lowest they could offer was R800 a pensioners rate. I felt so disgusted that they would even have charged a pensioner that amount especially since that is almost half of a state pension payout. They could give me no other payment options. I could take my cat home and bring him back in the morning. I asked them to give my cat a pain and antibiotic shot, they charged me R349 cos they included a consultation fee which was 2mins with the vet who looked at the gash and said they need to have a closer look. I took my cat to the pdsa the next day. No need to keep him in. 10min consult with shave stitches and meds for R260. Im very dissappointed in their service. I will never go back again.

Animals are well cared for. Staff are warm hearted, caring and empathetic - it's all about the best care for any animal that lands at the CGH-SPCA. We adopted 3 huskies, thank you for giving us the opportunity to give them their forever home. Sadly, Koda (Siberian) passed away on 17 May 2023. May you all be blessed for the great work you do to protect the voiceless.

We had to let go of our 17 year old Staffie and even though it was the most difficult thing to do. CGH SPCA really made the experience bearable. We could take our time to say our goodbyes before the time and afterwards. They explained everything in detail for us to understand and were very sympathetic. I really appreciate their great service.
