Nice place, bad maintenance. Dangerous balcony, partly burned. Bad signage. Municipality should definitely do something. Highly liable in case of an accident!The fall itself and the direct surrounding has so much potential. PLEASE DO SOMETHING MUNICIPALITY!

Beautiful waterfall. We went abseiling down the waterfall with Rock n Rope adventure. We got the see it from amazing angles. The tunnel is dark and there is no lights. Bring a torch to make it easier.

Beautiful waterfall. There is a parking lot on the other end of the tunnel. Nothing is maintained , the deck has some holes but it’s still safe enough to stand on . At least it’s free !

Incredible views and a fun dark walk through a creepy tunnel to get there.Only down side is the random guy asking for money in the parking lot. Made us worry about the car while we're gone. Needs an official car guard. Would be worth paying a small entrance fee.

To be honest, the combination of the dark and unlit tunnel and the unofficial car guards outside meant that we felt uneasy and didn't make it to the waterfalls, I was very disappointed. An official entrance and some lights in the tunnel or torches to hire would make a huge difference

No signs. Very scary. No official guards or guides. Felt quite unsafe most of the time. Dark tunnel perfect opportunity for any criminal to strike inattentive/naive tourists travelling with phones to take photos of the waterfall. Arrived at the waterfall with a very unstable unsafe wooden deck for an outlook point.Would not recommend visiting this site especially after paying a ridiculous R112 times twice for a toll gate to drive on a road full of trucks who cannot break in time before having to swing out into the opposite lane.Not a great experience after visiting Dullstroom with the opposite vibe.

Walking through the tunnel or climbing over holders to go around the mountain is worth every effort for this beautiful view...

Beautiful place with an amazing view. Beware of criminal activities there. There are tourists guides but they demand money before the tour.. If you don't give them they start threatening that something bad will happen to you in the tannel. Go there as a group or rather have something to protect yourself.

Beautiful waterfall, although scary to walk, seems safe enough. Sadly the people living under the bridge set the deck on fire, what an unfortunate situation. So the deck seems quite precarious, although the structure seems sound

Small safe historic town with no crime at all. More than 8 train tunnels through the mountains. STONE CIRCLE (Adam's Calendar) is the oldest Man Made structure in the whole world. It can be found in Waterval Boven.
