I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife.The staff at Alnisa have been nothing short of brilliantFrom the security at the door to receptionThank you Sister Veron and Zuki for the delivery of my son whom was born on the 04/02/23Sister Cathy for your never give up attitude helping my wife to breast feed correctlySister Kirsty for your advice and guidance during the last few check upsAnd Sister Robyn for always checking up on our baby boy when we are at the facilityYou ladies really love your jobs and it showsWe've just had an all round good experience when coming to Alnisa from the very first visitYou guys deserve more than 5 starsRegards - Tyler and husband

Stay away if you can. We were told that they picked up down syndrome markers on our babies ultrasound and we should decide soon if we want to continue with the pregnancy or terminate it. We couldn't believe this as it was an absolute shock to us as everything else was fine with our baby. 9 months later my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Alhamdulillah. We ended up paying more at another hospital but at least we received the proper care and professionalism and we had peace of mind that everything was going to be fine. This is just one incident of another that we experienced with Al Nisa.

Not happy with the service at all. New lady at front desk was very rude and unreasonable. Came all the way from Mitchell's plain for an appointment and was 10min late due to roadworks and loadshedding. They didn't want to see to me with my appointment and told home and phone in to reschedule on time. I would rather go to dischem and won't even use them to deliver babies because no doctors or nurses available. I was loyal with them always just because of the way I was treated before this new lady in front was there but I'm done with Al nisa

Avoid this place at all cost. I was told that I can claim back from Discovery to my face by the receptionist and 4 days after I haven't received my invoice I emailed to request this invoice only to be told, this time that I can't claim and this make sense why they didn't want to provide me with an invoice on the day of my scan. I was basically put under false pretences and According to Discovery, they are using codes on their invoices that they are not registered to use. I was basically scammed out of my money by ensuring me that I can claim back on the day I paid them. Unethical business practice. Should have read the reviews first.

My husband and I had the most beautiful service ever, so professional, courteous, calm and understanding.It was our first baby, so naturally we did not know what to expect, but we were kept informed all the way. Pregnancy wasn't smooth sailing, but they ensured that I do everything to help them assist me with delivering a healthy baby. I remember I had braxton hicks and PAPS at 38 weeks along, they booked me in after I was unable to sleep due to the practice contractions, well needed rest because the baby came 3 days later.We were well monitored, laboured in the bath, had the entire labour ward to myself, we were able to create a calming atmosphere with lights and music, it was the BEST.Thank you Al-Nisa for having my back, we love you - midwives, lactation nurses, sonographers, receptionist.

Terrible service. On arriving for our baby immunization and having to take off from work the receptionist just sarcastically says no more stock is available. Absolutely disappointing attitude and not even an apology. Communication is poor and no consideration for people who have commitments and responsibilities. Pathetic service that is in need of overdue improvement. To think that they portray values and ethics. Definitely no recommendation for them until improving their attitude and services.

Was at alnisa today. I did not get the best news sadly but the staff was so kind and helpful and sympathetic. I don't know the names of the staff but I will forever remember their kindness.

Stay as far away as possible!!! A family member did all her check ups through this facility as well as postnatal & immunization. At 9 month immunization they noticed something in baby's eye & was told to wait & come back at 12 months to see if it grows. When they came back at 12 months they were out of stock of the vaccination. Eventually baby got the vaccine at 14 months. Then discovered that growth has developed further. Was sent off to see an ophthalmologist. Baby was diagnosed with cancer in the eye which was at stage 4 already. Definitely do not recommend this facility to anyone & judging by the amount of bad reviews this is merely another business." Would have given a zero rating if it was an option."

Been with Alnisa for just over a year. With my prenatal appointments the midwives are exceptional. Each and everyone (you meet different ones for each appointment). Unfortunately I had to be transferred after labor didn't progress - while I was under their care they are tentative and make sure you are well taken care of.But of late the reception staff has been putrid. The most unfriendly and unhelpful bunch.I've had my babies vaccinations appointments rescheduled with no one getting back to me on dates. Calling numerous times and only being slotted in a month later.The manner in which they address the patients are awful - your front of house staff make or breaks an experience. Especially dealing with 1st time moms. I've had a receptionist bad mouth a client to me while keeping the patient on hold because she kept calling.I've always recommended you to everyone that's asked about my choice of birthing facility but now I can't say the same for your post natal care and assistance.

December 2019 my son was born at Alnisa Maternity Home. My entire experience was absolutely wonderful. During labour I had 2 sisters who were on day shift, Sister Anthony and sister Kathy. Both were incredibly helpful. My son was only born the evening with sister Gordon and Gairo assisting. The entire birth experience was amazing. Scans and check ups were great. My husband and I decided to have our 2nd child at Alnisa as well. Best decision we've ever made. Our daughter was born January 2023. I had amazing and kind sister Kathy who went beyond and above to assist me during labour. She had my back like a mom would have a daughter's.. Sister Ayla, oh my gosh! What an incredible person! Miracle hands, patience, kind, jolly and smart sister Ayla. Thank you so much to both of you ladies. Thank you so much Gairo you've been wonderful and helpful. Every single staff member I've encountered with from radiologist, cleaner to security are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Thank you Alnisa Maternity Home for making my experience so wonderfully great!! I now have beautiful birthing memories thanks to your awesome staff.Sincerely from the PPH woman...Tanay J
