Nik is amazing... his honest take on your style and what is needed is refreshing. It's unique to you and he certainly doesn't cut and paste his advise and have you walk out looking like everyone else. He works the style to who you are and what looks best. Always a great and entertaining experience

I was charged R100 for a 5min (literally) trim on my fringe. I was here for the same thing earlier this year and was charged R50 so I'm not sure if there was a 100% increase on their price list but feeling a bit ripped off. 3 stars because both times they helped me immediately without a prior booking which is nice.

Took my son for a haircut, and I am more than impressed by the experience and results. My son has 3C/4A hair and finding someone knowledgeable of that hair type is next to impossible. We were initially booked for a cut by George, but he was honest that he was not confident on being able to execute his vision. Mpume took over to execute George's vision, and did an excellent job despite not having much experience with his hair type. I was most impressed by how everyone watched as Mpume cut my son's hair - one even recorded the cut on his phone. This communicates to me the passion the team has for hair, but more importantly their willingness and openness to learning about the natural hair community. I would strongly recommend the team for natural hair. Things that stood out to me. George asked permission first before exploring my son's hair (this is huge, often complete strangers just touch his hair as though he is an animal at a petting zoo) and the whole team kept asking me questions and seeked clarification of the best course of action in dealing with my son's hair. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.P.S - My son almost fell asleep during the head massage:)

I was a little bit nervous but I just decided I need to change my hairstyle right now. On Google maps I found Nikolas hair salon in Umdloti, close by, just around the corner.Nicci was my hairdresser, loved her interaction and felt immediately at ease. I left it up to her to decide we looked at a few pics. Well I think she did a fabulous job. Out with the old in with the new.

Nikki is absolutely amazing! She transformed my hair that was all dry and miserable into the nicest new cut. She is so professional and worked her magic like a queen. I let her decide what to do with my hair and WOW DO I LOVE IT! 10/10!
