Wow!!!!!Best Wedding, Best Venue, with the Best people!!!The Venue is breath taking!!! The staff was Amazing and the food, wow!!! The food was the best we have ever had!!Karina the wedding coordinator was so well organized, a week before the wedding she already had the wedding program ready, spoke to the supplier and MC directly to make sure everything runs smoothly. She made everything so easy for us as the wedding couple. Everything was in place and done better than what we have asked for. She is so so good at what she does!!! So friendly and willing to help with everything from day 1, not just on the wedding day. Nothing was ever to much to ask for!!! Wedding without her would not have been the best wedding we had!!!Thank you Karina for making it the Best day. We would not have been able to do it without you!!!Danielle, wow the food was AMAZING!!!!! You know food is amazing if you can eat some of it the next day cold and it still taste amazing. Everything was served so beautifully and not just looked amazing, it really was amazing!!!! People could stop talking about how good the food was!Lu-Anne did everything decor related!!! What a friendly person!!! She is soo good at what she does!!! She was sooo willing and patient to create exactly what we wanted!!!! Everything was perfect!!!!Lunikhy and team, thank you so much for such a GREAT experience. Our day was perfect and if we needed to do it all over again, we wouldn't have changed anything!!!!!

Excellent platteland bushveld-type wedding venue. Parking was safe with guarded patrols. Lots of wildlife to see in late afternoon. Function was punctual with typical bushveld atmosphere. Cocktails and food were par-excellence. Sound for sermon and dancing was good. An excellent send-off to a newly wed couple in a truly South African style wedding.

The best bushveld wedding venue with the best food in the business. Lunikhy is easily accessible with wonderful wildlife and pristine surroundings. Highly recommended for any season.

I had the best experience being a bride at Lunikhy! From day one the whole team helped me with everything and every single question I had!They made my dream wedding came through! The elegance of this venue was mind blowing!! The food was amazing and every single guest of mine made the statement that it was the best wedding they have ever attended! The self catering units were amazing and beautiful!!The whole team assisted me so well with every need I had! The wedding Coordinator WAS EXCELLENT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY!Thank you Lunikhy for making my wedding day a dream come true!

As a bride- it was a truly disappointing experience having to deal with the ladies running Lunikhy Game Lodge.From one bride to other brides, a word of advise: it is so easy to look at this venue and want to immediately book it because it is really so lovely to look at. BUT proceed with caution if you value service and communication. I did not feel special at all leading up to our big day, or throughout the process.Here is what you can expect based on my experience:- No 1:1 consults offered until I absolutely insisted. You are a number and will be reminded throughout that they have plenty weddings upcoming and you must wait.- Everything is charged for over and above the venue hire. Everything! I mean every single thing. Prepare to pay R650-R750 per head if you want to taste possible food options on the menu before your big day.- All the small details you will need to think of, the staff and wedding coordinator do not assist you with anything that isn’t agreed to in the contract. The chalets are 100% self catering - ensure you pack your own tea, coffee, sugar for every chalet to cater for your guests. Or tell guests to bring these items themselves.- We we’re promised a few canapé/ starters for our wedding party whilst we took photos- nothing arrived.- If you want ice for Friday night, YOU will need to arrange it yourself through the bar lady. If you want accommodation changes, you need to speak to somebody else YOURSELF. If you want to speak to the chef, contact her directly YOURSELF. The wedding coordinator only takes responsibility for the Saturday of your wedding and even then we didn’t have details checked, like napkins and name tags at the main table were missing.- The wait staff is bare minimum, guests glasses were empty most of the night, the champagne and white wine were at room temperature left on the tables with no ice available- guests are to serve themselves and go to the bar.- One thing we will say is that even though the food came out 40mins late, it was amazingly delicious! Worth the wait for sure!In summary, our experience was this: Pay, pay and pay some more and then be grateful you were allowed to have your wedding there.If you want to be treated like it is your special day- keep looking for other venues that offer exceptional service. In retrospect, I wish we could have known the poor service we were going receive, as the experience of planning the wedding would have been far more enjoyable. The service wasn’t worth the amount of money we spent with Lunikhy. Unfortunate, but hope this review helps other brides make the right decision and selecting their dream venue x

I felt so heart sore. Dirty self catering unit, no iron!!!!!! blocked shower with hair, filthy toilet. No attention, no care, over priced. Great boma, bush views etc but no service at the wedding reception, wine was warm and no ice, food was good but full platters were whipped away before seconds could be had. The bride was so beautiful, and the love was so great, I almost waivered this review. But, the shower gargling everytime the toilet was flushed was the final straw. Be aware before you pay the excessive deposit and regret it.

WOW!! Lunikhy Game Farm - THANK YOU!!!Our wedding day at this venue was beyond special. From our first viewing we were SOLD, when we arrived at the venue, we were welcomed by Buffalos and Giraffes.We had a run through with Denielle and she answered every single question we had and reserved our spot for us for the big day!Throughout the planning, Nicole assisted us with EVERYTHING. She answered hundreds of emails (within a day) despite having a baby in between. She made sure we knew everything there is to know to prepare for our big day. She went above and beyond when it came to special requests, took calls when necessary and ended all of our conversations with please let me know if there is anything else or if you have further questions".Lu-Anne did EVERYTHING decor related. She was always willing to listen

What an amazing venue to celebrate your wedding with friends and family. Perfect location in the bushveld!!
