Johan and his team are professional, organised and well prepared for all levels of individuals who attend the ASI courses. As a snake remover I highly recommend their courses and equipment as it has been closely refined and perfected over the years. Their courses and training are for the novice, corporate and professional who want to further their knowledge in snake handling and removal, scorpion and spider knowledge as well as first aid treatment surrounding these bites. The atmosphere is relaxed with the knowing that you are in the presence of professional and competent persons.

I recently attended the Venomous Snake Handling and First Aid course, presented by Johan and the ASI team. This is an incredible course with lots of practical training. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants or needs to know more about snakes and how to handle them safely.

This course is fantastic! I have completed it before but did it again with my husband as we are about to embark on a long overland trip and decided to brush up on some skills and knowledge. The best part about this course is the practical way it is laid out that really demystifies snakes. I loved watching people who showed up with a real fear, confidently handling them by the end of the day. Highly highly recommend for anyone that wants to learn to remove snakes if they live in an area or have a job that requires it or just wants to know and understand these slithery characters.

I had a great time and new awesome experience with the snakes. I can now say I'm quite confident that I can handle snakes. The facilitator was great and is well vested with knowledge about snakes which made it easy to gain know and leaner more. I would recommend the course for any person who is scared and frightened by snakes to do the course. Furthermore, I think such a course should provided at schools.In conclusion, thank you to ASI more especially John and his team for such a wonderful work and time.

the course was great. Luke was friendly and engaging. No cowboy antics (Steve Irwin type behavior)- must be the reason why no-one has been bitten on any of the courses.... i would definitely recommend it to anyone interested...

Arguably the best course I've attended in my life. Luke's enthusiasm and people skills are excellent, surpassed only by his knowledge of not only snakes, but other reptiles too, as well as spiders & scorpions. A truly memorable course that I would confidently recommend to anybody interested in learning more about snakes.
