Honestly this could of been a unique experience but the barista did not make iced/cubed coffee as requested— no big deal until he refused to correct the order (asked for cubed coffee but instead got blended coffee). Also, per Google it says they have food/pastries but that was not the case (at least not at 9am). This was a bummer before our long drive back to Cape Town and we had to get coffee and food elsewhere.*original review updated to provide more context

This review is solely based on pastries and bread, and the two staff members that assisted me. The food slaps, honestly, amazing no issues there. I however felt very unappreciated and uncomfortable when the owner gave such a warm welcome to everyone around me in the line but me, it was super weird, as if I was just standing there window shopping or something or he had an issue with me being there, who knows. Anyways the staff treated me well, so don’t let that turn you off, highly recommend their food.

Good spot for a quick sandwich and to buy some delicious bread.Coffee was ok, it didn't seem like the waitress knew what she was doing while operating the coffee machine so we weren't supposed it came out all bitter.Service was realllllly slow and she seemed a bit ' out there'. We constantly had to walk inside to order what we wanted and 2 of the 3 sandwiches came in take away wraps although we were clearly sitting on the terrace and the third came on a plate... (?)So don't expect to much on the service side but its a good spot for a quick bite in the shade.

Full marks for a very tasty selection of cakes, breads and sandwiches. The coffee was strong and tasty. Staff were polite and helpful. Sour bread sandwiches were very flavoursome and filling. Cinnamon swirl with pecan nuts was divine. Most recommended.

Got the best sandwich in town, crunchy, cheezy goodness! A tad pricy but worth it. The menu options are great. It really hit the spot for a Hangry traveler.
