Five Star Mediterranean Barber Shop
Absolutely appalled by the experience of cutting my hair at this barber shop. Asked for a trim with a nbr 5 machine and left with literally 3mm of hair on my sides. Was the only customer when I walked in and was received by a young barber slouched in his chair and texting on his cell phone. The so-called barber raced through the process with machine and sciccors to cut my hair and blow dry in under 10 minutes. Do not be fooled by the exotic name of this barber shop and its boy barbers. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid, if you value your dignity and pride in your appearance as a professional. Would truly rate this business lower if I could.

This is truly the most incredible barber shop I have been too. I'm so grateful they cut women's hair as well. Mouhammmed is truly a master barber with magical and gentle hands. I have thick curly hair that knots easily so often my hair gets pulled or tangled which isn't the stylists fault and Mouhammed is the first hair stylist where I did not feel any mild pain from tangled hair. I highly recommend this place. The stylists are very professional, very friendly and the actual shop is beautifully decorated and well kept clean and hygienic. This is my new hair salon. They really live up to the 5 star name. In fact 5 stars isn`t enough.

This is my Barber Shop of choice in the area of Bergvliet and Meadowridge in Cape Town. The guys are friendly and humble, the place has an authentic Arabic and Mediterranean aesthetic feel. The most awesome backdrop on the wall of the inside of a mosque and potently rich Arabian coffee is on demand and filling the air with aroma.

I've had my hair cut at the Mediterranean Barber for a while now and I'm generally satisfied, the cost for a haircut as of a week ago was R130.My 17 yr old son went for a haircut today, depending on who is cutting your hair English can be limited. Countless to say he landed up with a zero blend on the sides which is not what he wanted. The cashier to add insult to injury charge R160 because it was a zero blend, not sure why if it is a zero , one or 2 it should be a different price, not sure if the cashier was taking a chance!

The baber cutting my sons hair didn't understand English so when I said put gel on and don't cut the top. He ended up cutting the top. Needless to say the shop is very clean and neat.
