Disclaimer: this is an account of my experience and is not necessarily a representation of how wimpy as an overall company are. My experience on the 23rd of December 2022. I arrived at this wimpy hungry (as one does) and was directed to a table. I took a seat and was presented with a menu. No waiter/waitress was allocated to me. I sat there and watched as people’s orders were being taken. I would understand if the establishment had been full and the staff was overwhelmed but this was not the case. After almost 20 minutes of waiting I notified the party that would later be joining me to no longer come and that we would find an alternate place to eat.I’m very disappointed in the service I’ve received or rather did not receive upon my visit especially with me being a loyal supporter of wimpy at least in the branches where I don’t sense a racial component to how one gets served and another does not ( I’m not saying it was racial, I’m simply pointing out that the individuals that were being served while I was there happen to be of a specific racial group). This happened to be my experience and it’s saddening to have experienced such from a company I’ve loved for many years. Would I recommend that one eats at a wimpy? Yes. They’re mostly very good. Would I recommend this wimpy specifically? Absolutely not.Final Note: I’m more disappointed than angry, staff should know better.

The best fast food I’ve had in a while, the food tasted freshly made and the staff are super friendly. Would recommend any day. The manager goes around and talks to the customers which is rare and appreciated.

Not to great. Almost like they forgot we were there. Had to constantly ask for help. Food was not bad. Although the consistent asking for service was not expected as the wimpy was not that busy.

Ordered the double double special for takeaway at lunch today for one of my colleagues and only got a normal cheese burger. My coworker said that the burger was good but disappointed that the meal was not what was ordered and paid for.

Visited this wimpy tonight at 17:45 with the intention of ordering take aways. Only to be told by who I’m assuming was the manager, that they were closed. When I enquired why they were closed since closing time is 6pm, I was told they close before 6pm so they can be out of there by 6pm. I would of assumed closing at 6pm means you serve customers till 6pm. I will gladly take my business else where in future. I would rate zero stars if I could !

It was around 13:00 on a sunday when we felt like having a good breakfast, most places only serve breakfast until 11:00 so we drove to our local wimpy and ofcourse they didn't disappoint, food we ordered was spot on, fresh and well prepared. Just what we needed on the day, thanks team wimpy.

We came on Saturday for breakfast. My husband and son ordered a streaky bacon breakfast. The chips, bacon and tomatoes were underdone. My other son ordered a toasted chicken mayonnaise and it tasted sour. What a horrible experience. You need to jack your kitchen up. Won't see us again.

So I placed an order for a toasted cheese with extra bacon and a cold drink through Mr D food. To my amazement I received this lovely tiny streak of bacon with very little cheese that barely cover the bread.. Paying R90 for a piece of bread is very heavy and disappointing and not receiving my cold drink that I also paid extra for.. What's happened to service delivery and actually giving the client the extra food that they have paid extra for. Highly disappointed.

When we order a breakfast with a plate of chips weget the food served cold. I have told the waiters on numerous occasions to tell the kitchen staff to not only warm the plates but we want the food served hot.
