When you feel like having home made food but the wife isn't up to cooking, Orientals is where you want to be at. Their kheer is a must after having any of their delicious main course. Service with a smile as always. They also deliver for my convenience. Try their new range of burgers in their new set up just next door. You will love it.

The food is great. The new location is best suited for a takeaway. The food was delicious and great service from the owner. A must if you visiting Durban for the best bunny chows. The keer was also one of my all time favourites.

The stuff at Oriental Cowey Park can learn a thing about customer service. I asked for extra fresh coriander from 3 different stuff members. Only to be told they don't do that. Honestly a bunch of coriander costs R8. It certainly ain't something they could be stingy about. This was certainly the last time I will be ordering from this p a particular branch again. Not to mention how all the food is served in takeaway containers only.

I once visited The Oriental back when it was at The Workshop - I always tell everyone who will listen, that they had served the best Bunny Chow I had ever tasted.Now that it's at Galleria Mall, we tried the mixed platter for dinner which was absolutely delicious. We loved it so much, the second time we ate here, we ordered mutton biryani for lunch. Be prepared to wait for a long time for your food though! It gets really busy and it's easy to understand why. Definitely a must try more than once!Also halaal.

When I visit Durban, KwaZulu Natal, I have to follow a family tradition and go to The Oriental Restaurant. They used to be at The Workshop in the heart of the city. They may have relocated, but the flavors have remained consistent. I've always had the same order: their famous Mutton Bunny Chow with a Coke. Nothing else will suffice.

Was rather disappointed with the service and presentation of the food. The restaurant was empty, and we were promptly seated . Our food didn't take long to arrive, but to my surprise, my bunny arrived wrapped in foil in a packet! The whole presentation and packaging was terrible! A complete waste of going to sit down to enjoy a bunny when it arrives like that.

The best mutton bunny! Delicious, Halaal and well sized portions. Meat is tender. Seating area is available. The area is clean and service is good.

Ordered two vegetable breyanis. I expected a piping hot breyani but it was rather cold. In their defence it was loadshedding but should inform us they may have a problem with heating food so that we have a choice as a customer to go elsewhere. Did not enjoy my meal.
