It's a good institution given the fact that it's located in a rural area.The campus has grown vastly over the past three years and more buildings are built, allowing for more students to come in. There's always something new and an improvement happening.

This is the right place to come and learn and also make a few life friends while you are at it. The mountain views are just fabulous and also the green culture they have here. Unlike Bloemfontein campus (mother campus), the Qwa-qwa campus has its own culture and properly the right people within it to make your experiences worth it.

The worst place to study, when there's loadshedding and you are working in any of the computer labs on campus, you'll lose all your working if you weren't saving and it's even worse during exams...this university is not big on technology and that's just a tip of an iceberg. This place will never fail to disappoint you. The management excels in mistreating students. Walk far away from this place
