Xanadu Holiday Lodge
lodge itself is allright, sea is nearby, but the picknick spot right below one's bungalo, attracts all kind of characters and taxis, leading to irritating, thumping noisy music until deep in the night. One cannot sit on your veranda to enjoy a cup of coffee or have a braai, and listin to the sea or enjoy a view. Will not visit again if it goes like this

Lacks maintenance. Eye sore units not up to scratch, full of cochroaches, no wifi for guests. Lacks attention

What an awesome weekend my wife and I had. Auntie Crissy uncle Bob and Anita were fantastic people to deal with. What a beautiful resort, and the friendly Ness and customer service is absolutely outstanding. I would rate them 11 out of 10. To me Xanadu is top of the tops. Very easy to book in but bloody hard to leave.I would recommend it to anyone on this planet. Well done to all staff and owners you really live up to your reputation.

Been coming here for fourteen years so I am biased. Wonderful place with excellent upkeep. Better every year. One minute to the beach. If you walk slowly. Sleepy hollow. No-one on the 17km long pristine beach.

Absolute great. Four weeks per year and it is not enough. Comfortable stay, excellent views, quiet and relaxing. Teenager enjoys table tennis, pool and pool table. Also play tennis and then kilometers of spotless beach. Can't be better.

Always a treat to spend a few days at this hidden gem. Splendid views while relaxing on the patio of the well equipped cottage. Lovely gardens and good facilities for young and old. Waiting for October when I can spend a full week!

Very rustic but needs some love and care. Beds are very comfortable and linen is fine but definitely needs some repairs to plumbing, doors general appearance0

It had 62 steps to go down to the Beach and i had to climb them to get back . Great exercise !! The view from balcony was pleasing to the eye.

We have been holidaying here for a few years as part of a timeshare. It’s truly lovely being so close to the beach - but for the yearly price we pay (and many others) there are some general upkeep of the common grounds that is needed.* tiles around the pool are extremely slippery. My sister slipped & was concussed*boardwalk steps have no traction and are slippery when feet are wet*general painting & varnishingBUT all this to say it is a wonderful place!
