SUPERSPAR Monument Park
This is one of the best Spars in Pretoria, if not the best. It is not only well stocked but also has a wide range of imported goods such as sweets, canned and bottled food items. Its confectionery and bakery section is magnificent. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit for all of your shopping requirements as well as for that something special or extraordinary from overseas.

Love how localized" this spar feels. Haven't been here too many times recently but remember how they used to have a lady who sold pancakes outside and within a few weeks they sold them in store. Really made it feel like "part of the community""

Very clean. Staff is helpful and friendly meaning management treats them well. I was impressed by the food area, Just by looking it says buy me. I ended up buying food though I didn't plan to. I got in as detour accompanying a colleague but I ended up being the last person to go out. Dog dewormer pills are reasonable at R99.00 for five while at my local Spar are R130 for three. I had to take them. Also Bob Martin tablets I found them reasonable.

Had a piece of the R20+ choc ganache cake. It was very dry not what I was expecting. Probably been lying there a couple of days. Saddens me as I always viewed this as the best Spar in South Africa. Yet, I find myself having less of a choice to choose from as getting more disappointed with choices from the bakery in recent months.

This spar has a variety of cooked food, I had lamp stew and pap yesterday, I can't sleep now as we speak and its 02:55, they cook so much food and can't even sell everything in one day, the lamp was old and had no taste no wonder the food is cheap. I have to visit my doctor first thing in the morning thanks to them. Stay away from their cooked food.

Very close to my work place. The place is very neat and clean, 100% secured. Two main entrance. Fruit shop, butcher(wild animals meat). 5 minutes from R21 via Elephant. Cultex garage next to the big cycle. Turn left. Monument Park.
