such a beautiful place! the service is amazingly friendly. they already recognize you after you‘ve been there only once or twice (and not because you behaved badly haha). the food is super delicious. they also have good food for babies. the parking space in front of the building is very generous big and the place is right at the R45 in between paarl and franschoek. gonna be there more often!

Service and food up to standard, but the flies were a big problem. When I asked the manager" girl there to give me a better citronella candle she wasn't very happy as she didn't have anything else - I could feel the cold shoulder. But then later she by some miracle found what I wanted. It was almost like she just wanted me to be cool with 30 flies trying to eat my food every second! They know full well flies are a problem

This is a very nice place to have single/couples or family picnic's. Live music on weekends in the open fresh air. Beautifully located between mountains. Provided picnic baskets/blankets and chairs. Plenty of shade and grass area fairly close to shop. Parking area bit of distance depending on where you sit. Dog friendly.

The food is not at the same standard as at other Ou Meul bakery and Cafes. Beautifull place to sit and relax, but has a horrible smell when sitting outside. Our coffees were unfortunately also not to the level at which other Ou Meuls provide you with. Ou Meul is a great franchise, and we usually go to it for the great food and coffee which they offer, but unfortunately this brach did not live up to the standard for me.

Great pies, cookies, cake and coffee. Carrot cake particularly tasty and on par with that of Contermanskloof. Nice outdoor seating. Quite a distance out of the city though.

Good quality food items in rural position . Dogs allowed . Local farming clientele, and upgrade to furniture may not be viable .

Really great food and coffee. Lovely atmosphere and vibe.Loads of flies though... But to be expected as there is a dairy farm next door!If you go, don't forget to stop by the little hidden shop at the back with plants and gift type things, very sweet place!

Such a gem! Found this by chance when looking for a breakfast spot. This placed had previously been a neglected building that has now been completely transformed into a quaint farm house type restaurant. The seating area outside under the trees is fantastic. It overlooks the newly renovated building and an olive tree grove. Inside there are a few tables and counters as well. Great food - as one would expect from an Ou Meul Bakery. Worth the drive! There is an interior design / decor shop and little garden shop too. Was such a nice outing.

Wonderful food and fantastic service, but women's bathroom is a bit dirty and full of flies.
