What has happened too Stax - service is shocking. I ordered and paid for a Kenwood mixer on the 31/05 was told I could collect in 48 hours. Went into to collect and was told by the sales person I was spoiling his day by asking for the mixer - he said it was not on the shelf and would follow up and I could come back on the Monday which I did. The mixer had not been collected. I asked for a refund and gave all the info for my refund and was told it would be processed. I went back a week later as I had not been refunded, was told to wait for the manager which I did he said he was very sorry but the owner of STAX was out of SA and only he could authorise the refund he took all my details down and assured me he would follow up and call me - he did not bother to call and I still have not been refunded. This kind of service forces a consumer to go back into the store and actually lose it . Stax was an institution in our area and we have lived close too the store for 35 years and bought all our appliances over the years.The only time I will be back is to demand my refund and that will be when I am ready to take the useless manager on.Its a pityThe store does not deserve any stars

Stax have been our go to place for appliances for years. Staff are very knowledgeable and there is always someone to help and advise. Prices are good variety excellent.

Excellent service, knowledgeable attentive staff. Gentleman that helped us went out of his way engaging us on the new tech in equipment we were interested. Go there if you want honest advice and attentive service.

Very disappointing service from Stax. I had bought a big TV from them 2 years back. A problem occurred with this TV and, due to me moving, I could not find the sales receipt to check warranty. At the store I was told they are not allowed to reprint!!! This is the first time I have ever come across a store that is not able to assist a customer in this way.I have purchased quite a few items from Stax over the years and sent friends to the same store. How disappointing to get this when I needed them to help.

By far the best and quickest delivery I've ever experienced! Prices are extremely good! I have never been to the actual store but it's definitely not necessary! Keep it up Stax!

Good service. Doesn't offer some of the appliances and electronics like the woodland shop maybe cause shop is small...

Great selection of electronics and appliances, not many items are marked with prices though so it's a constant issue to have to ask for the price all the time. Website pricing also differs from store pricing so best to go in and check. I purchased a kettle online and I waited a day before I could collect, even so it took long for them to find stock when I arrived... Processes could do with improvement.

Great store, stocks good brands with good service

I requested to order a Samsung MX-T70 speaker tower. The sales representative was extremely abrupt with me; letting me know that I am requesting a discontinued product and that it cannot be ordered. I've been advised by a friend to check Samsung's website directly, guess what, not discontinued, available for order. R8999
