Great cut. Good overall experience too. The barber got me rinsed off, cleaned up and styled and also recommended a great everyday product from the wide selection of styling products available at the salon/barber shop.

I had been here twice to get my hair cut by the barber. Both times I have asked for a low fade but the trim ends up being a mid or high fade.They had not advised me that the barbers charge their own price so when I went the 2nd time (different barber than the 1st) I was told it would be R180 but ended up paying R260 for a cut as simple as a low, blade fade. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL, especially since it was not what I wanted. Staff are not very welcoming either.

I raced in with no prior appointment as I had just returned from a mini getaway. I was assisted by Tasneem, she was absolutely fabulous, she guided me through the entire process, gave me the best head massage, discussed the state of my hair and recommended brilliant products to retain my hairs shine and moisture. I highly recommend her services and will definitely be back.

Always happy with my treatment and cuts. Ask questions and you will definitely get a knowledgable answer from the talented team. Also there is a great energy in the salon.

Had a very bad experience here. After they totally messed up my colour (my roots were an entirely different shade to the rest of my hair and I went in for a single colour nothing complicated), I was offered a correction. So basically I had to go sit for another 2 hours of my time. They offered no apology for the previous mess up and then said they won't give me a post colour treatment or blow dry because I had already got these treatments the first time round." Surely a customer who you already messed around can get a free treatment and blow dry for time wasted? Terrible customer service and they made me feel like I was the one with the problem. The only good thing about this salon is the lady who washed my hair (I think her name was Lauren). She is the only one who made me feel like a human being."

I love coming to Hair Freedom. The Staff are always friendly and the stylists always give me exactly what I ask for. Very happy with my hair in these hands. Thanks Hair Freedom! And special shoutout to Ilhaam! :)

I went to the Hair Freedom salon tonight just to correct my son's uneven haircut by a barber. The one side was slightly longer than the other. I decided not to correct at the barber because clearly they didn't know what they were doing in the first place.I thought the best place to go, is a salon as they have trained professionals. (Or so I thought)The stylist tells that she wish she could do it for me, but she doesn't want to take a chance because she might mess up the cut even further and also says they don't do corrections on cuts. (Instead of just saying, I don't have the skills to do the cut.)I was absolutely shocked that a stylist could basically tell me that she doesn't know how to cut hair. The owner needs to hire better quality stylists.You cant be hiring ppl who can't Deal with different hair situations.I posted a pic of my sons hair. It was such a simple task for someone who is qualified. The one side is just longer than the other. It was just a matter of trimming.
