The spar has your basic needs, if you looking for more variety i suggest you go to a bigger Spar, but to pop in and out is the best, their produce is consistently fresh and they bake breads and pies fresh daily. always well kept and clean. staff are friendly

I like coming here especially when chilling at the Zoo lake Park. However, it is disappointing to find rolls that are not fresh in the morning. Lack of rotation is a serious issue in that dept.

There is something going on at the cigarette counter, the girl that works there doesn't give the correct change. Especially when you buy airtime together with groceries. Today I told her the receipt shows you are supposed to give me R26 change but she gave me R 16 change instead. She starts making excuses because the airtime does not reflect on the receipt. This is the second time. The management should monitor what's going on. The cashier is stealing broad daylight

This is an excellent Spar outlet. The new owners have totally transformed it from a somewhat shabby, under-stocked mediocrity into a really well-run shop with a sufficiently wide range of stock that locals can mostly avoid a trip to bigger supermarkets further afield.

Nice cosy supermarket.But not very friendly staff,Cashiers too few and too close to each other,Expired goods on shelves! We found expiry dairy and that’s so bad! And then we found a UHT milk bottle at home that we bough few days before that was also expired! And might be the cause of digestive issue my kid showed!Please check expiry dates!And Dear Manager, just one apology is not the solution!

Very convenient with early opening times and late closing times, but you have to check you receipt unfortunately, especially when buying items on special. It has happened about three times in the past month where the item prices were not as advertised when being rung up. Their “freshly” baked good also not also so fresh.
