It's a pity I have to give this review. We got married Nov. 2019 so now I can be as neutral as possible with this review.I will say that our wedding ceremony was really special but our reception was less than 1 star and I am still left quite embarrassed a year later. Food was not at all like the yummy tasters, instead was dry and bland and my guests were left completely starving. Venue ran out of booze, venue sound was faulty throughout the night (sound check was done) And the after function service was exceptionally rude, unprofessional and non existent to say the least. If it seems to good to be true...it probably is I guess.If you book this venue for a wedding , get outside catering to avoid being overcharged after your event and make sure you do an inspection (and take photos of EVERYTHING, even table legs) of the venue before and directly after your event before you email them to ask about your deposit. We recieved a response weeks after our wedding and also after other functions have taken place and then were accused of damages that they could not provide proof of or explain and then we were threatened over email that they would charge us more.Management admin tried to charge us numerous zapper charges that went through unsuccessful 3 times duplicate before charging successful aswell so just dont make use of that option for your own sanity. Oh and dont accidentally take any stationary because they will charge you a large undefined misc. amount for it even though you offer to bring it back. You have to constantly email to ask for invoices and updated lists etc. because after you pay your deposit it seems managements time is worth more than yours as a paying customer. So my opinion is that if you are an anxious bride, having a function here will only add to your stress before and after.Also note this venue was not open every day as google states. It was by appointment only.Looking back I wish we had borrowed more money from our families to just have avoided this and that treatment we received after and had our special day at a more established venue. We thought we were getting a good deal and with the reviews it seemed good but in hindsight we feel like fools. Save yourself the stress. It is all in all a pity because the venue has real potential but I cannot recommend.*I hope in a year that it would have changed for the better

Beautiful outdoors & lovely venue.Thank you for your response.Please put a big sign on the left hand side of Beyers Naude with an arrow, just after going across the highway. Then another largish sign on the left of the road off Beyers Naude to show people to turn rightQuite a few of us got horribly lost on Saturday & it is such a lovely area.You will attract many more people that way.Best wishes, Delia
