The products are excellent however the company has no sense customer service. You get shoved from the contractors doing the fitments, their office and management. A Job that should have taken 2 days has taken two weeks.

Appalling service received from Limax SecurityWe called in for a quotation on a slam lock gate. We were assisted by sales rep Deon who initially confirmed that he would be able to do the gate according to my requirements, same of which was confirmed on email.However, to my dismay when they came to install the gate, I was then told it could NOT be done according to my requirements. They suggested that I change fixtures on my property to accommodate their gate such as moving the plumbing and flipping the gate around which I was not too happy with considering that it would have been difficult for me to lock/unlock the gate and it would not be possible to move large objects in and out of our house.I then proceeded to cancel the order and thereafter received a call from Deon who was assertively rude and was basically forcing the gate upon us. At no stage did he even offer an apology however he encouraged that we get attorneys involved and advised a refund of my deposit will NOT be possible.After much reasoning we were then advised that we would be charged a 20% handling fee off which is not stated on the t&cs and bearing in mind the sales agent took down the wrong measurements and promised us false expectations.This is my personal encounter with Limax security and after an appalling experience I do suggest that if you consider using Limax services, ensure that you get everything in writing and ensure you get quotations from other reputable companies.In my opinion customer service is very important, however with Limax it is non-existent, and they never come back to you.

I am very disappointed and feel company does not take customers seriously. The installation personnel forgot to to keep to their appointment. There was no courtesy call to inform me on delay. I had to call the office and was informed that the fitter forgot about the job. I am unable to understand how a client can be forgotten in this difficult economic times.
