Chatsworth Post Office

Worst service ever!! No one is helpful or knows what is happening there. Needed an urgent package to be delivered and they couldn't even trace where it is. Get told they not doing so well and losing lots of business but when asked when my package will be delivered I get told theres a backlog, so things are delayed..Still no idea where the package is a month later. Would give them zero stars if I could

Called in the make a simple enquiry. Gentleman advised they only have 2 functional systems and as they were paying sassa grant, they couldn’t assist. He asked me to call another post office and cut the call. Called back and no answer. Tried calling again and he answered and cut the call immediately.

The worst service ever. Unfortunately, I have no choice to utilize this post office as I am a resident in the area.No one answers the phone and its like they just accustomed to the phone ringing constantly. The working attitude and service of staff is disappointing as if they are forced to render a service to the community. It's annoying when you have to repeat yourself to 3/4 staff members before you actually get the service you require and every time the staff decides to have the own conversation. It apparently very clear that you need a new management and staff that are energetic and willing to work and don't look like they are half dead!. Staff really need training on customer services and how to speak to people and a change of attitude.

Great service. Quiet most weekdays. Teller that served me today helped me out a lot with collecting my parcel. Thanks so much Premilla.

Its sad to see that the Chatsworth post office has no computers to assist residents with queries sad to say that the Chatsworth post office has been vandalized

Extremely terrible service. I went to the post office on the 6th of December 2022 to pick up an international package that was supposed to have arrived on the 21st of November according to the online tracking details that I viewed. I was never informed of the packages arrival until I contacted the company in France due to the package not arriving on the ETA stated. They informed me that the package had arrived at the post office already. Upon visiting the post office the staff told me that they could not find the package even though the tracking details stated that they received the package on the 21ST and that it was at the premises. Extremely poor service.

Chatsworth post office is the most unfair and unhelpful , people that work at the post office are rude and don't consider the old people, my mum who as health issues but stood in the line for almost 3 hours only to get to the front be told she came a day late and to be sent home , she was unaware of the date but when speaking to lady at sassa they had told her to go and the post office will assist her in collecting her out standing amount from August 2021 , I had then called the post office to speak to a manger and a guy by the name of Jerome was extremely rude after me asking him to try and assist my mum just for this time because she wasn't aware and it's her first time collecting and she stood in the line for 3hours .. he had told me theres nothing he can do and its not his problem if my mum as health issues or is old because she must come back and stand in the line , he busy and as other things to do there a big poster on the wall and then cut the call without even listening .. I can not understand why people take on job where u have to assist people and then give people hard time . This isn't the first time having a problem with Chatsworth post office even when buying car license they give people hard time. It is so unfair to the community to have to deal with these people at the chatsworth post office.

The staff is absolutely rude and abrupt. We went to collect our social grant from 5:30 to 16:00. They are extremely slowing service. They treat the people like animals and there is dirt everywhere. Maybe hire new staff. Thank you!

Absolutely useless! I've been trying to call you guys since Monday and it's either the line is busy or the line is unavailable.
