Horrific experience! If i could give 0 stars i would.Wanted to return a shirt i purchased online but was told that this item is non-returnable as its a bodysuit. I explained that i HAVENT even tried this item on as it was a gift and i got the size incorrect. I just wanted to size up.I was turned away...Please explain how i can try on bodysuits on in the changing room but this cannot be returned? Also it stated NOTHING about this item being non returnable on the website.Then we went to Mr Price in Strand and they exchanged it no questions asked.Soooo i will never be shopping again at Mr. Price outside of Somerset Mall.

Nice and big store. Unfortunately always understaffed.

This is such a nice shop to visit. The shop is massive and have a homeware, a clothing and a sports department. Their prices are quite reasonable and it is a pleasure to shop at a place with wide isles with plenty of space to stand and browse. They also have ample stock on the floor. Their displays are really lovely as well. The shop has large windows and with lots of light streaming into the shop. We'll qoth a visit.

This store is big and has a lot of variety. Great prices too. Okay quality. The home decor is good. They also stock artificial plants and wall decor, carpets, linen, crockey, cuttlery, and plenty other things.

I was looking for one of the colourful plastic trays they used to have but found only smallish ones in either black or white and some wooden type ones of a more suitable size. However the wooden ones were around R300 each which is far more than I wanted to spend. Very disappointed with this meagre selection

I’ve been here a few times. They have such a wide range of products and many options to choose from. Staff are really polite, friendly and helpful. One of my favorite stores to visit.

Visited store on Sunday 26 February 2023 to purchase a dinner set, there were an advert below one of the plates we purchased indicated buy 4 get 2 free. Upon our arrival at the pay point I indicated such to cashier who called a female named Edwina who then asked why the promotion weren't removed. She then proceeded to the department to check and returned telling me that it was for another product and not the plates that we took. I pointed out that the plates were above the sign and my right as a customer is to pay the price or promotion advertised. She then said they sorry about it and that it could have been a customer who placed it there. My next question what happened to housekeeping and ensuring your products are properly marked, priced and arranged. Mr. Price Home your house is not in order and your staff at Somerset West branch are below substandard as the manager is blaming your Head Office for not putting product discription on their promotions. Why do we as customers be victims to your internal flaws?

It was a frustrating experience, and not for the first time at this store.Pricing is a shambles with red, reduced labels showing a higher price than the correct label before the promotion. One display had exactly the same product with 3 completely different prices across them.Priced to go items had no prices which meant you had to stand around and wait for 20 minutes as they tried to work it out.Once you have got through these challenges you have to go and stand in a mile long queue to pay because a huge store has only a few checkouts.What should have been a fun trip to redo a bedroom turned into an extremely frustrating experience.

Lovely big store with good selection and variety to choose from. It's a plus to have the mr price clothing in the same space...well worth a visit with lots of parking space.

Really pleasant shopping experience. All assistants were really friendly, polite and helpful. It was unfortunate that the electric blankets I wanted were sold out, awaiting new stock.
