Had the best experience possible with Victoria. She is such a professional midwife, who is extremely educated and well informed. She managed my birth at Genesis and even though I ended up with a c-section, I would not have been able to do it without her. Can highly recommend her!

As a first time mom, birthing with Protea Midwifery was the best thing that I did for myself, family and baby.Sister Victoria is more than a midwife, she is an angel bringing other angels earth side.She provides individualised care for her clients, answers all questions with knowledge and patience and has such a soft, loving character.She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and will do everything according to the books. I felt safe in her care at all times and would receive assistance at any time of the day as she is just a message or phone call away.I feel honoured to have met and birth with Sister Victoria. When I think back to my experience, I can't help but smile as it was everything I imagined it to be.If you're considering working with Sister Victoria, I would highly recommend you do so.

I had an amazing birthing experience at Protea Midwifery Birth Unit. As a first time mother that was pregnant 40weeks and 5 days I really thought something was wrong with me. When it was time to give birth I was ready to give up but Sr. Victoria kept motivating me to push through. Wish there was more stars ✨.Sister Victoria is the best there is. Started my journey with her in my third trimester. She was so great and authentic from the first day we met with her. We decided to go ahead and birth at Protea Midwifery but nature had its plans.I developed complications with my pregnancy, and even though she knew I can’t birth with her, she still was very helpful with the whole situation and helped me understand the conditions I was diagnosed with.She answered all my questions and was my go to person for comfort and information. She’s very quick in her responses as well via WhatsApp.I ended up having an emergency c section at a hospital, and even then, she gave me information on taking care of my body after surgery and we immediately continued with her for baby’s check ups and we are enjoying our journey as a family with her as our midwife.

I called to enquire about the birthing center and ask if it's a possibility to view the place before I make my decision about where to give birth, the lady over the phone was absolutely rude and unhelpful not sure if I caught her on a bad day. I was told that they don't do that" meaning that they don't let you view the facility before hand

Terrible experience.Genuinely felt robbed. Had to end up having a c section and when I got to the hospital the doctors had a lot to say about the midwife meaning it’s quite a number of clients that end up at the hospital. Was also with another mommy that was birthing on the same day and she happended to also end up in hospital.

Once upon a time lived a boy. He was a normal man nothing extraordinary about him or his life. A boy growing up with the normal thoughts and things an everyday boy would grow up with. He met an incredible woman and they got married and lived happy ever after. Or did they? They thought they did but they were pregnant and this this was the happily ever after after the happily ever after.The only concern was where would we birth? Normal boy thoughts thought hospital but the man was shown a birth center by his wife and reluctantly but curious went ahead. This small journey of weekly sessions, WhatsApp messages, calls and advice with the birth center owner - Victoria - would change their(his) life for good. It would prepare them in ways they only understood after and help them be better new parents. She mentally and physically prepared both parents not only for the birth but the pregnancy and after pregnancy. Victoria answers and studies and comes back with more answers. Victoria supports you after by helping you give birth then by helping you put in your car seat and when you’re at home with a crying baby tellling you it probably needs a burp and then after burping it understanding yea it did need one.They lived happily ever after. More than they thought.The end.5 stars. Highly recommended. This is a decision we went with that has truly set us up in the best way possible as new parents. Thank you again V.
