Mohamed's Daxina MIDAS

It's a good place but some caahiera don't know their product prices.. Asked over the phona and was told an item is R100 then boutlght it for R85 in Lenz only to find out the price at Midas is R65... I am dissapointed.

I was not treated fairly as a loyal customer, I was sold a wrong size brake pads and they refused to take it back because the plastic was worn off on the pads, not professional at all, they are friendly when it suits them...

Pathetic Service and behaviourI have been to the store Mohamed's Daxina Midas twice today 2022/03/12 and was given the worst ever service. Firstly the manager Shameem was not available and then the second instance he was out to CASHBUILD, the so called second in charge by name of Herbert tells me that he cannot honor the warranty on the battery that I purchased from the store due my vehicle's electrical system overcharging. He is a counter salesman and not a battery technician he did not present any credentials showing that he was a qualified BATTERY TECHNICIAN. I am a qualified motor technician with an exemption result A" on batteries in my trade test. I know that a sulphated battery will swell due to the internal plates buckling and bending when a charge is induced on the battery. I personally think that this is down right common stealing from the customers. The Manufacturer of the Battery should be the decision maker on their product. On my second visit there and when I told the salesman that the charge rate was within normal limits which is the range from 13.9v to 15.1v at 77 degrees celcius he told me that is too high for a 12 volt battery and will not honor the warranty. These are the worst people to deal with

Staff are friendly but service of some leaves much to be desired! After traveling 50km return trip I discovered that I was given a wrong product! I had called before I came and got told about the availability of the product and its price but I got a shock of my life when I was told the price of the product. It eas R300 more than I had been quoted. I eas naturally upset but because I needed it for my mobility, I had to take it, only yo be shocked further on finding that the product was wrong! I had to drive back to return it in exchange for the right one. I heard the two staff members laughing about how wrong the older staff member was wrong in giving me the wrong part. I could not wait to get out of there! They definitely need to jerk up their customer service and communication.

Best go-to to get your spares. My father goes there for easy and quick spares to get in a hurry. Still good.
