Avoid avoid avoid! I took three pairs of jeans in for the waist to be made a bit tighter. They rushed me trying on the jeans and only allowed me to try on one pair saying the of the measurements will be the same for the other jeans. I fetched the jeans and every pair was faaaar too small (to the point of not even fitting anymore). I returned the jeans to ask if they could be made looser. Upon fetching them a second time, they have made the jeans even tighter - despite emphasising that the jeans were far too tight and they needed to be looser. They have made seams everywhere that has ruined the denim. The two guys there are incredibly arrogant and so rude. Would not recommend at all.

This is by far the worst tailor I have ever used. My jacket was done very poorly, and it doesn't even fit me anymore. DO NOT TAKE ANY SUIT YOU VALUE TO THIS SHOP.

Stuffed up a Hugo Boss suit pants. Only needed to be shortened - simple job. Seams uneven and shoddy. Had to take it to another tailor to fix. Won’t go there again.

I had multiple suits made by Tip Top Tailor and their service impresses me every single time. Would 100% recommend their quality work!

Horrible had to take the dress back twice and it's still not fixed right, we getting married tomorrow and they sitting happy with their money. I think it's the owner of the place sits with a stick up his a*. Don't use them find someone else.

Decent service, not the best but far from the worst.

Avoid Tip Top Tailors as far as possible. I ordered 2 formal dresses for a wedding from overseas and took them to be altered the work done by TTT in MOA was shocking. They butchered the dresses and the horrific man with the bun who works there is the most rude and arrogant human I have ever come across.

A tailor that can turn around an alteration within one hour will always get my vote, I wish other tailors in Johannesburg would wake up and realize that making two trips to a shop to get a pair of pants shortened is a real pain. Here you can drop off, pop off for some coffee or shopping and your pants will be ready before you leave. Nice one!
