The place does not look like the photos at all! Wake up on the 26th of December with no running Water to wash up. Electricity faults, (tripping of power) we cut our visit short by 2 days because of these inconveniences! They will never see us again!

We booked several rooms for March 2020 worth R 37 000; we had to cancel due to the pandemic. We cancelled 30 days prior to arrival based on the T&Cs of the establishment. Up to this day, we have not received any refund whatsoever, 0 ZAR! We emailed and called the owner several times and he is ignoring our communication.

The accommodation is quite fine. It is noticeable that the utilities are well used but working. Our room was clean. The WI-FI works very good. The Guesthouse are in close proximity to the next Gate to Kruger, approx 5 min per car.

Nice, quiet and very convenient. Many tour companies will have no problem locating you and picking you up for the tours. Perfect for a backpacker's budget. The facility is a bit old but everything is nice and clean.

Elephant Walk Guesthouse and Backpackers
I have stayed here twice, once in mid-winter and once in summer. Both visits, totalling four nights, were very pleasant. I received an enthusiastic welcome from the owners, as well a few quick visits from them to see that everything was to my liking.They are conveniently located; walking distance to various shops. I only used my motorbike once.All in all, a very pleasant experience. I look forward to visiting again.
