Execu-move (Johannesburg)

My experience deserves a rating of 0 and not even a 1 but that option doesnt come up. My goods were collected on 26th Jan and I have yet to receive my items, almost 7 months. The latest saga is that I had to pay an additional amount, substantial to my husband and I, because my items are stuck somehwere now in the US and is there for a period longer than the allowable timeframe. This is not something I can control, they alone can only dictate this. I have also been told there is no definite timing even if I pay this amount and to be honest I dont know how many more bills I will receive. Its like a hostage situation. I contacted another shipping company who say they have been able to deliver to the USA during this time but at every step Execumove has treated me with a lack of respect and today even accused me of not understanding and only thinking of my perspective. I have had to buy all new items, furniture and clothes for the 3rd season now. Who else's perspective should I see this in when I keep footing the bill? Despite my urgent plea for help and humanity from their top Management and multiple emails, I have only received hurtful comments and been made to feel as if I am the 1 who is unreasonable. I dont know your experience but definitely do not understand why they have such a high trust rating on this forum. They will protect their bad service and staff instead of having a customer is always right" attitude. How can it be normal to wait for almost 7 months with all the other stresses 1 has to endure with an internaional move. All my friends and family that have moved this past year have received their items with no delays and issues. Yet

We had a great experience with Execu-move, from the time we received a quote, right up until our goods arrived. Every detail of how our stuff will be moved was explained carefully to us, including the chance of paying additional fees at some ports which we understood and acknowledged. We moved to Australia on 02/06/2022, our container left on 13/07/2022 and arrived in Sydney on 17/08/2022. We were consistently kept up to date the entire time. Superb service!Maria was an absolute dream to deal with. From the quote, through collection and delivery was a breeze. They really take the stress out of the move.Although I wrapped and packed 80% of my belongings, the remaining items were packed professionally, and everything was transported and unloaded with care.The collection and delivery team were super friendly and efficient and assisted with unwrapping everything.Thank you all.

Good luck getting them to call you back as they always seem to be in a meeting or on a call. When they do call you they fail to provide any helpful information. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else

Can't say I was very impressed with the service. Goods arrived broken, and damaged during collection already, non-stop extra fees during shipping and you have no choice to pay the extra fees (that was never discussed or quoted for) as they hold your good hostage with the excuse that it's there other partners fault.

This is a very good removal company with the most professional staff. Would recommend them over any other company as they are extremely dedicated and customer service driven.

Sonja, Roderick and the team made inter provincial moving a breeze. They were on time gave good feedback and were so helpful. I will use them again.
