Very friendly staff wonderful experience

I booked a full body mesage for 3 people and a head and shoulder mesage for 1 with each treatment 60mins. We called to confirm the appointment twice during the course of the weekend as we had to drive in from Pretoria. We also confirmed that we will come as a group to be treated at the same time. Yet when we got to the spa at Vusalala Lifestyle at Hartmark they we short staff and couldn't fulfill our pre-booked appointment. Secondly, the staff ran 30mins late. Thirdly, when I asked for the manager's/owner's number the supervisor on the day gave me the incorrect number due to fear of losing the position.I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from the staff. To be honest, I am surprised that a institution that is supposed to help a person to relax can cause so much inconvenience. I would not make use of this specific branch's service again. It is better to look at another company altogether. I have wasted time and money to drive out to not get a service I pre-booked and confirmed. Ironically my experience was also shared by another person whom posted her disappointment with similar problems on Google. I would suggest that the manager of this company pays serious attention to 2 customer complaints that are closely related.After communicating with Bernice Koen, the owner, the mistake was rectified and we received our treatments. Treatment was satisfactory and the owner's intervention was most appreciated.

It's situated in a market, very small and can accommodate 5 people at a time. However the Therapist are very professional and know their therapy techniques, I enjoyed every moment of the therapy. There are no welcome drinks and no inhouse dining, however there is a restaurant next to it that serves delicious meals and drinks, as well as live music.

We had to wait a substantial amount of time (in excess of 20 minutes) despite having made a booking several days prior. When you enter the little wendy, their shoes were scattered about all over.They did not smile or even greet me friendly.It feels like you are intruding on their time and space.Furthermore, the massage was painful and the masseuse paid no regard to my expressions which clearly displayed pain and discomfort.Despite booking for a hand massage, only my arms received attention.I left with three bruises in several places on my arms.I would not recommend this spa to anyone.

**WK has reached out in the meantime to resolve the problem.I made a booking for a massage on 17 August for 26 September for my boyfriend's birthday. When we arrived at the spa on the 26th, the doors were locked... We were then informed that the spa is closed on Mondays, and that they are unable to assist us. We spoke to a guy, assuming he is a manager of the area, and he promised to make up for the error - took my contact details and address - however we have not heard from him since.We were very disappointed as we are not from around, we are more than 300km away from Harties, and we had our day planned around the booking. We had to check out of our accommodation just before 10:00 that morning, as it was our last day in Harties, and we waited around until 12:00 (the time of our booking). Had we known that we did not in fact have a booking, we could have made alternative plans.
