Well let's not beat around the bush. The new owners created a cozy little spot for gamblers but this is not the Carousel of old, with the majority of the complex infrastructure standing idle and slowly deteriorating.

It's sad to hear that 50% of the wild life in the reserve has been poached by the locals that live in the surrounding area, it surely doesn't help improve the influx of people this place needs, judging from the restaurant food, where we had the Sunday buffet lunch, the old adage you get what you pay for" comes to mind

Carousel Casino and Hotel's glory days are way behind it. Sol Kerzner's jewels in the former Bophuthatswana no longer have the spark. They used to be the main entertainment attractions and buzzing with holiday reveller daily. Although Carousel is partly operational, it will do with some cash injection, some kind of lifeline. To bring some more work opportunities for the local communities...

On our way to the Game resort close by.We are having lunch and Milkshake.Playing a few slot machines..It is very beautiful here..Friendly staff.Our waitress Mailet was very helpful.Food was niceNot to expensive

The place is very quiet with few guests to the casino. But a great venue.

The Carousel Casino
Due to increased competition, carousel was forced to down scale much of its operations. Entrance fee was R53. Parking is now at hotel entrance. Actual entrance is via mvg family entry. Everywhere was uncomfortably quiet. Too little people. One fast food outlet.
