Gorgeous property in a lovely area at the top of Hout Bay. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back!

Amazing place with a lot of benefits (sea view, pool, jacuzzi ...). Super hosts with a lot of tips how to enjoy your stay in South Africa. Our room was super clean and WiFi worked perfectly.We loved our stay there and would definitely recommend Cap Serein.

Immaculate and very comfortable accommodation, delightful gardens; quiet and peaceful. Delicious, varied and healthy breakfasts with home baked breads and cakes - with a warm, generous and kind host in Petra - thank you, we loved our stay.

Me and my wife had our pre anniversary romantic getaway here at Cap serein. One of the most beautiful places I've been at and the service was top class. I will recommend Cap serein to anyone, and definitely planning on coming back.

Really loved this place. Little Oasis within suburban Cape Town. If you need a rest from the buzzing city, come here :) We had out own little cottage close to the main house. Comfy bed, big bath & the pool & the view from the terrace is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay in this little paradise a lot and wished we could've stayed longer.

To Petra the hostess/owner. Thank you for your friendliness, hospitality and excellent and clean accommodation. You were always readily available with a smile when we needed you. The pool the jacuzzi the accommodation and the serenity of Cap Serein made our anniversary and my hubby's birthday an awesome and relaxing experience. Money well spent. We'll be back for sure!!! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better getaway! Such a hidden little gem. Petra, the hostess is absolutely lovely and ensures your stay is really comfortable. Odine, the German Shepard has stolen our hearts! All facilities were nice and clean. The terrace views are wonderful and the jacuzzi was just amazing. We will definitely be back

Absolutely incredible stay. My partner and I cannot wait to go back to Cap Serein, it was the perfect accommodation for our holiday. The location was amazing, it was so close to everything we wanted to do in Hout Bay - from seal snorkelling, to the bird sanctuary, the Clay Cafe and the beach. The newly installed solar panels provided a much needed escape from load shedding and made our stay even more relaxing. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and made our stay that much more special. The hot tub was the cherry on top with absolute relaxation with a stunning view. The rooms were so private and comfortable and the Wifi was amazing. Thank you Cap Serein for such an amazing experience we cannot wait to come back.

Staying a few days at this mediterranean paradise is a real treat. Located in a calm environment at a reasonable distance from downtown C.T. and many attractions, it is an ideal base for excursions in cape region or just for relaxing on the premises. Petra is an excellent and caring hostess providing a rich breakfast and assisting with any kind of advice. We will definitely choose this place again when back in the area.

Our experience at Cap Serein was wonderful- we arrived straight from a 12 hour overnight flight and we couldn't think of a more idyllic place to stay for our first night in South Africa. The hosts Petra and her husband are very helpful and knowledgable of the area. The guest house itself is very clean and beautiful, lovely, good sized rooms, good shower and the pool/eating area has amazing views of the mountains and Hout Bay. The breakfast was also great quality!Also a very secure place to stay and we felt very safe. If you don't have a car the guest house is walking distance to the bird sanctuary and Uber works well in the area also.We would definitely come back and stay here again!
