The most gorgeous property. My husband and I spent the weekend at Jokmanshof and extended our trip by one night because of how amazing the house, team, interiors and food were.

Exceptional detailed service. Amazing breakfasts. The proprietors take a great deal of effort to give you lots of useful info. The decor is so very special and detailed. Lovely hikes in the surrounding mountains. Beautiful gardens to blow you away! One small thing - perhaps try and select a bedroom that is not street facing as you cannot leave the shutters and windows open on that side as you can from the other rooms and share the magnificent views that they have. Thanks so much to the amazing hosts!

We travel a lot and must say that this was one of the most gorgeous and unique places we’ve ever stayed. Ode to great taste, wonderful design and high level of hospitality. Everything was perfectly curated - from interior/outdoor details to breakfast and dinner experience. The owners and Brydon were truly welcoming and went an extra mile to make our stay so enjoyable. It felt like staying at a good friends’ place, with the most beautiful memories.Thank you so much for inspiring us with your passion and showing us what a dream house looks like. Still amazed and can’t wait to come back, hopefully, soon!

An absolute dream, a privilege to be able to stay in such a wonderful house, beautifully restored with amazing citrus garden, succulent hothouse and a kitchen where gourmet dinners are prepared by Hans on request. A world class property, a treat.

We stayed for one night in the jonkmanshof , bath 20 street. It was an absolute delight. The house is made with lots of taste and attention to details. The garden is very nice and we enjoyed the view on the surrounding mountains. Not to forget the breakfast which was the best we had on our trip through SA. A little piece of heaven in the middle of montagu!

We had an amazing stay at Jonkmanshof. The house is - of course - fantastic, but it's the people of Jonkmanshof that made our trip so special. The warmth of Hein, Hans and Brydon make it feel like you have known them for years, and you are just visiting friends (friends with an absolutely gorgeous house). Every request we had was answered and the extra mile is taken at every point.We can't recommend staying here enough!
